I'm all for an experienced premier league manager to come in and take over. I don't think we have time for someone new to the league to get to grips with it.
I'd prefer Thomas Frank whose football is more appealing than Dyche's who looks and sounds like he should be on the door of a dodgy pub. If it turns out to be Bouncer Boy then never mind the quality feel the clean sheets.

I wouldnt mind Thomas frank. Also thinking long term and the event that we do go down I wouldn't mind him steering us back up from the championship as he has managed it in the past.

Yes, half the player he was is still twice the player that either Khalali or Mingueza have been for us. I still hold out hope for Mingueza if he gets a run. Khalali doesn’t look like a professional footballer. He’s awful at everything. Maybe he will transform under a different manager but he just doesn’t look up to it
It’s strange because Khalali did look reasonable early on, he burst forward a few times and even scored a goal which was a Munoz type goal and he looked promising, but like the rest of the team and manager he’s struggling now

Some 'Card' known for being a prankster sent me a message filled with josh, concerning a mythical conversation between Steve Parish and the Americans. The latter informing Steve that there are 30 games remaining, we are not tailed off like a nag about to be pulled-up, their investments are not under immediate threat so inform the manager "Sorry Pierre to disappoint you but you are required to carry on" !! It ended "DON'T PANIC" !!!!
Such much needed jocularity !
🤣

I feel Sage needs a miracle against Liverpool to keep his job but I just cannot see it, although stranger things have happened.

Personally I’d like Thomas Frank, if we go down I’d trust him the most out of the names being bandied about to get us back up quickly.

Knowing Parish, he’d go down the Dyche route. The one name that’s haunting my thoughts and would be so typical of Parish to consider to be a master stroke is Southgate. I can just see it, terrifying as it may be. It really would be the worst decision he’s ever made.

If we do replace Sage soon then, as the ladies might put it, we are not looking for Mr Right, just Mr Right Now. It's no use having a new manager with a vision or a philosophy that requires time and certain players. Even if we can give him that time and sign those players in January, it will be too late by then if we don't pick up results beforehand. Plus, we can't even be sure that we could get any particular jigsaw pieces the new man might want or need.

We need someone to make us harder to beat and who will work with what he has, immediately. Whether that person is likely to lead us into a bright future is neither here nor there.

I take no pleasure in saying it, but all signposts point to Dyche.
His recent performances don't exactly fill me with confidence. A few seasons ago he looked a likely prospect for an ailing club but he seems to have gone a bit stale. Not got any ideas myself for a quick fix saviour and a lot would depend on how much would be available in the January window.

I was reading recently that Southgate has fallen out of love with football. I can't see it personally but....we do seem to have gotten the last few ex england managers before him 😅

If it came to one match to decide Sage's future, it should have been the Spurs game not Liverpool.

Who in their right mind would expect us to get a result this Sunday ?

Think he might have gotten a bit of a pass against Tottenham considering we were playing with 10 men for nigh on 80 minutes.

I think the Liverpool game, if we do lose, will come down to the manner in which we do so. Ship another 3 or 4+ and I think he’s gone. Add in the break after, it’s gives someone else a slight cushion to implement something new.

Sadly Sage should have been dismissed after the Brighton match. The new person needs time to sort this mess out. Leaving it until after these next two matches makes it harder still. Sage in my opinion won’t keep us up. A more experienced person just might sort us out to survive but needs time. So, the more games we give Sage the harder it gets. I suppose it could be, everyone has seen how bad we are and are waiting for other clubs to sack their manager? Or, we accept our fate and hope Sage gets us back up next season?

Hoffenheim are 12th out of 18 in the Bundesliga.
They have lost 5 of their 8 League games.
They have won 2 and lost 3 of their last 5 League games.
So a win for Hoffenheim it is . 😕

I think he'll come good once we play sensible tactics and don't ask so much of a young defender adjusting to a new league (I think the same can also be said of Canvot). I loved Munoz but he was completely at fault with the first Everton goal at the start of the season. So far I think Forest have also been slightly underwhelmed and he was even dropped to the bench on Saturday for them.

I like Saaarge & hope he turns it around, however if we are thinking of pulling the trigger just b4 the international break, Talkshyte are suggesting that up to 4 PL managers could be on the way out the door at that time, given the obvious advantages of the gap before the next round of PL fixtures, so we do also need to be aware that anyone that might be on our list as a potential replacement might also prove to be in considerable demand as other vacancies emerge -

The other 3 are Carrick, Le - Bris & OG -
