I wouldn't spend too much time worrying about the fate of rapists, even if they do loosely share your politics - come across a bit weird.

It comes across two tier if those with a certain viewpoint get a longer or harsher sentence than those who have a different one.

I remember a time where if a bloke was convinced of rape, they'd be unanimously hung out to dry and ostracised.

Nowadays, you get people angrily reacting to rape verdicts, assuming the rapists shares their political views of course.

What a bizarre world.
