We'll be signing Bo Derek at this rate.

Now that's one signing that I could really get behind.....and on top of.

Back in the early eighties I hasten to add.

Now it would just look awkward, I'd have to spend time looking to see what was a winkle and what wasn't.

Still, I have to tip my hat to her, she's kept herself well.

The rattling of the beads would sound like a paint mixer.

Bleeding hell, are we buying their entire squad or what?

You could spend 200 quid and a chip sandwich to convince the whole Millwall fan base to switch sides.

This fella must have diamonds in his socks.

This is only Carlton Palmer's opinion and having seen him play I'm not giving that much credence.

I watched a bit of Millwall v Sheffield United yesterday so was able to make a direct comparison between Rak Saki, who was substituted midway through the second half and Esse. Rak Saki was said not to be having one of his best games but he still looked a class above Esse who seemed very lightweight.

Interesting, one game obviously but my own opinion would be that we'd be taking a chance on Esse - he could work, he might not. I also believe that Rak-Sakyi is good enough for back up to Sarr here and question why we don't use Agbinone more too.
I also have a feeling that Glasner wants experienced players - which could put him at odds with Dougie. We're linked with several late 20s players - who like Kamada - Glasner knows.
I don't think Glasner particularly wants Esse but you get the feeling the club does.

Perennial problem though - the manager wants immediate results and isn't bothered about resale value. Most managers aren't that interested in what happens four years down the line when they're likely to be two clubs away.

Esse looks interesting, but if I'm honest not sure he's better than JRS.

And with JRS and Franca, not sure we need another similar player who may not make the grade.

Number one target and £12 million release clause, this gets done and not Ben Doak, not sure he's ready yet but massive potential, local lad, seems more suited to Palace than Doak. Confident kid too.

If £12m turns out to be true then it’s a great signing. Agree he suits us perfectly. One for next season I suspect but has the air of a player that will thrive with us. From what I read he has a good head on his shoulders like so many of our signings. I’d be very happy with this and still money for other areas of the team

We need players who can adapt to the PL now and not next season i would rather have doak than esse as doak seems moreof an olise type of player and esse isnt PL ready and doak is

It depends on the budget. Esse would be an exciting player and if it meant we also sign Bellingham I would take both as excellent signings. Agree Doak looks great from the little I have seen but mindful he has already had knee surgery. The good news is we are being linked with exciting young players that will develop well under Glasner. Whoever we get I feel optimistic of better times ahead

Good friend of mine reckons this deal is pretty much there.
I won’t say he’s ’in the know’ but he is. But not at Palace.
