Is somebody/ anybody saying that Rak-Sakyi offers less than Johnson? There's a pretty obvious answer to that.

Surely nobody can argue that. Johnson will never come good and deep down we all know that. £35m wasted. You only had to read the Spurs forums to see he was crap and no one rated him. How our DOF can look Parish in the eye is beyond me.
With JRS he’s actually had some good games for us. Was it Arsenal at home as a sub a few years ago? As for Johnson he’s been rubbish every game.

Well of course you can. Different players suit different formations and styles of play. (Remember how good Benteke was in his first season for us.....)

He scored 18 goals for Spurs last season, 11 in the prem That would have been more than Sarr both last and this season

Well let’s see what you think half way through next season. It won’t happen. As regards Benteke he had a decent first season which partly justified the huge transfer fee Liverpool mugged us for and the big wages but soon reverted to type and was absolutely shocking the next few years. In fact he was so immobile he could have been arrested for loitering!

IMO its a pretty narrow minded way of looking at things.

Benteke was a monster at Villa, the move to Liverpool was a odd one, was never going to be the right fit, but his first season with us was immense.

The 'returning to type' you reference was more that we had 2 inverse wide men who didn't cross. Which was also why he struggled at Liverpool. He never was or would be mobile, but one of the best in the air.

Some players will struggle in systems that aren't set up for them.

If you look at the Forrest Johnson he was a chalk dust wide man, beating his man with pace and whipping balls in. Thats what make him a £50 player. Not playing the tight congested role Glasner asks.

If we want to get the best out of BJ and JSL we need to cross the ball.
