b) Deported to where?

I think it's true that many boat people remove their id and details, thereby making it difficult to ascertain where they have originated. Am I wrong with this?

If the solution is so simple, how come these measures haven't been activated already? I can't believe that either Tory or Labour haven't considered these because they don't want to. They are surely aware that is represents a problem for both parties in terms of voter appeal.
