Reform

Business and economics are two completely different disciplines. Related, sure and an understanding of the latter better informs the former, but very different.

I’m also a business owner and doing alright for myself so that degree isn’t totally meaningless.

I’ve also said that when you look at the Covid response purely through an economical lens it was a horrible path to take. But you are being completely disingenuous by trying to treat it in isolation as one to try and point score.

Well, you have a family so I'm glad you're doing alright, despite all your whiny soyness.

Economics are business are the difference between theory and practice.

The covid response was self harming on a generational level and it didn't even do what it said on the tin.....It's a layman's prediction but I think a lot of rather nasty stuff is coming down the pipe as a consequence.

I too expect to see Reform do well in the local elections, and at any bye elections that are held. It’s what happens in these circumstances. Protest votes happen.

A GE is very different and is more than 4 years away.

What’s a bye election?

That’s a new one on me! 😂

Is it an election where the incumbent candidate loses and trudges off stage with their tail between their legs when the results are announced?

Absolutely hilarious how she imploded her entire political career in the space of a few weeks and now has to resort to rent-a-gob TV appearances spouting populist online right wing tropes for a bit of cash.

It’s not just a bit of cash though is it?! She’s getting paid a lot of money on the speakers circuit. ALL former British PM’s do it…because they can earn an absolute fortune.

Coming back to that again and again isn’t the big ‘gotcha’ you think it is btw.

It’s OK to admit that you don’t know everything. The way you talk such ardent bollocks about so many subjects you quite clearly don’t fully grasp and/or are misinformed on, but with the confidence of an expert, is almost to be admired.

The irony of who ‘liked’ that post 😂

When the Covid response that you wanted could have resulted in generations no longer existing, our health services collapsing and the economy being decimated, that argument is disingenuous at best.

Of course it was awful. Of course it has long term consequences. It was though the least worse choice at the time, when being made with the information available at that time.

Circumstances change as knowledge increases and alternatives can begin to look more attractive. That’s life. We all suffer from it. Know-it-alls excepted of course. They’re never wrong.

Pot kettle black

So a reform MEP colludes with Russia and barely a mention from our media yesterday or on here BTW.

BBC 'hide' this in the Wales section of the news yet they are so lefty aren't they.

Our media is no better than the US now, where Trump is doing his best to suppress free speech

Wonder if Wissie went last night? It was only in Redruth, 9 miles from Truro, be about 10min drive, could've gone & seen his old mate Nige . . . 😆
No body chooses to go to Redruth. It was a hole when I went to school there back in the eighties and it has only got worse since. It is a very depressing place.
