It is a set-up political stunt, with the chess pieces poised on the board (for when the first MENAPT detainee lad does a runner) and the manufactured outrage will dominate the right-wing press for days. I bet the opinion pieces are already written.

As it is a stunt, it is mendaciously wasting Essex taxpayers C-Tax.

Regardless if it's a political stunt or not. If it stops assaults or deters them then it's a small win.

Perhaps labour can stage their own political stunt by stopping the boats and reducing illegal immigration? Then we won't need the high vis vests?

If you are in Haywards Heath, presumably you would have no problem with hundreds of illegal asylum seeking men being bussed in every day to hang around the town centre.

I'm a big picture visionary sir, the macro over the micro and this few dozen asylum seekers up the town is a hilarious example of the tail that wags the dog. Going to a Saturday awayday used to have more scope for bother in numbers than this shopping trip will.

Perhaps if they were wearing Millwall shirts I'd be more outraged. But always handled that in the past.

It is 6 'Operatives' across 3 towns so, 2 per town at the cost of 150k. You will be able to see the quality of the Operatives by looking at the photos online. Apparently, wouldn't even pass muster as security at Lidl.

And the citizens of COLCHESTER are supposed to be so scared that they need these 2 muppets to plod the pavements to protect them?? Colchester: the largest army garrison in Essex? Last time I went out there my friend told me that although quieter, you still had to keep your wits about you to not to hang about drinking if a bunch of squaddies popped into the boozer for a few jars. I can't imagine those asylum numpties would say boo to a goose in town there.

Does that Reform App include costs for initiatives like the much-vaunted 'Operation Vanguard' , £150,000 quid and counting to the slate of the citizens of Essex?

I won't be downloading it to see because I am absolutely certain it will be one of the leakiest apps on the market and will be leaking to the security services of about 5 different countries every time I fart when I take a piss.

As I stated, I won't be downloading so I will have to find a numpty foolish enough to do so and peruse on their phone.
