Until a party can return that line to a 45 degree angle for a significant time, they are pretty much certain to be voted out.

It doesn't really matter what their politics is....because the majority aren't political.

Clinton (who's changes to the banking sector regulations played a significant part in causing the 2008 crash...with Blair doing a mini version here) came out with the obvious often remembered quote of, 'It's the economy stupid'.

So the culture war is all very well......but personally I don't see a two term parliament for some considerable time.....maybe a decade or two.

Any idea what cvm is, I thought I had an idea earlier but was completely wrong so deleted my post. As opposed to gdp divided by population.

In economics, CVM usually stands for the Contingent Valuation Method. It is a survey-based technique used by environmental and resource economists to determine the monetary value of "non-market goods" (things that aren't bought and sold, like clean air, pristine beaches, or endangered species). This is a theoretical monetary value for what a business can do for its customers, is far from the normal data valuing value in pocket and is over a year out of date.

Not to say our economy is healthy or anything...

Having seen a lot of this ‘hounding his daughter’ stuff now online, including the videos of what happened, I think he is overreacting a bit. Remember he was the one wanting a clean break from Europe while being married to a German and as for deporting dual nationals, well he own kids are one and the same! I’m sure he has had bigger issues to deal with over the years in terms of press intrusion

So let's get this right....The main murder suspect had newspaper clippings of Nigel Farage and Reform UK on his walls, with evidence of the knowledge of where he lived......and yet Devon and Cornwall Police said they had found no evidence that Widdecombe's murder was politically motivated?

Continual lying from institutions that are meant to be trusted.

Pretty much. But the police and politicians were quick enough to say a bunch of lads flying a few drones in a park were "far right" terrorists attacking a Muslim gathering.
