Reform

It’s odd how some see lies where others don’t, let alone self enrichment! Which can only be caused by their political biases.

Whatever your perceptions they are no justification for the behaviour of others. I talk about Reform because it’s the subject of this thread! I criticise certainly but I also point out the problem with any political party who has never held any responsibility. They make endless promises but can they keep any? It’s unknown.
How is is that different to any party's manifesto which you've repeatedly said is no more than a wish list?

Manifestos cannot ever be more than intentions in best case scenarios.

With most parties you have some past experience to base a judgement on how they will handle the almost certain events that derail the plans. Not so with Reform.

So no difference except in perception. What relevance did the experience Callaghan's government have to Blair's?

Opinions are perceptions! We base our decisions on our opinions.

Circumstantial evidence is still evidence. Callaghan and Blair were both Labour PMs. The Labour Party has a long history of being in government which provides a basis for an opinion on how they will perform. Reform has none.

Not really. Many people just repeat received wisdom and others' opinions.
Huddersfield won the league three times in the past. Put them in the Premier League now and see how that experience helps them.

Agreed.

With regard to politicians that have never been in government before it's not about the history of that party it's about the experience of those people who will make the decisions.

A Reform government will face the same problems as Tony Blair's New Labour or Starner's current government. It's about the quality of the people and their experience with management and decision making.

I mentioned previously that Rachel Reeves job at HBOS was a more junior role than the one I had at Citibank. I do not feel qualified enough the run the economy and certainly did not have the experience gained from work.
