Yep, and it's basically the left's playbook....here we see their activists getting a Reform meeting cancelled.

I suspect, that if you looked at the funding of these groups that you would find.....just as Musk is finding out.....that taxpayer money is being given to them.....just as we know that's done with the far left 'Hope Not Hate'.....and that was done under the Conservatives as well, just for anyone who didn't know.

I disagree, it was enough of a mob for attendees to feel unsafe to pass by them.

We know the playbook here, it's to intimidate, take names, call employers....and I wouldn't be surprised if these people are probably being funded in the same way HNH are funded.

Yup I'm not denying there was intimidation just making the point that the photo is pretty harmless, you see groups like that "Save our school etc" everywhere. I was expecting masked men throwing punches and jostling attendees.

Looks more like some free speech being met with some free speech to me.

If the ‘free speech’ lot didn’t have double standards, they would have no standards at all. Or something like that.

I doubt we get that while Labour are in power.

While I criticise government/civil service taxpayer funding activist groups (seemingly always leftist ones) I doubt that it extends into the violent ones....though these guys will try to get you sacked and everything else short of violence.

I don't think that prohibition has happened in the US, but I would have doubts that we do it here.

Mmmm...this is interesting, so given what you say here do you support anti abortion activists being allowed to protest outside abortion clinics? Being able to film for identification purposes and shout abuse at those attending?

I support the right to protest, but not when the people attending feel threatened. I think that's what you seem to be supporting here for things you don't like.

I’ve seen more people and more intimidation at a local planning permission meeting.

From a photo? Like I said, the intimidation isn't physical, just as the women who was arrested for being streets away from an abortion clinic wasn't a physical threat....I've explained what these people do.

You haven't answered the question by the way....You can hardly criticise Hrolf for that and then just ignore direct questions can you.

I’m fine with people protesting whatever. Free speech innit. Doesn’t make them right though.
 
Looks like some of the right on here are ok with Reform meetings being cancelled.....the threats are real.

Perhaps, unlike me, they haven't had activists ring former employers like I had done to me and advertisers being contacted to lose contracts like the owner of this website has had done to them.

Yeah, just all a jolly joke.

The meeting was called off earlier in the day due to the planned protest. An alternative venue was used and the meeting went ahead. A lot of fluff in this tweet, I imagine like most things these days, why let the facts get in the way of a few clicks.

There's so much irresponsible nonsense like this that gets spouted from all sides of the political spectrum.
