Reform

Well if the Conservatives aren't 'terrified' or Reform it wouldn't surprise me.

It would certainly explain why they have failed so badly.

Apparently new policy announcements were meant to appeal to Reform voters.

Sorry, but as far as I can tell blue rinsers are living on another planet almost as far away from reality as the Labour party. When we look at the Tory party they haven't gone anywhere near as far enough to change from the 'Cameron/Blairite' party to get any actual Reform voters back.

I've said it many a time on here, they just don't get it.....The time for all this was years and years ago, but they were very comfortable destroying Conservativism just as long as they were in power.

That's all they care about....power and their personal careers. They will turn on a dime once in power and have done it time and time again.

House price conservatives will always vote Conservative because it's the bubble they live in. They are mostly living nice insulated lives in nice areas (for the time being). Insulated away from the sh1te that Tories visited upon most of the working class Tories...plebs like me. It's what the tories from Cameron through to Sunak gave us as they ditched social conservativism for social liberalism in their modernism purges.

Reform....who you seem to dislike so much......Rose because Conservativism had been so badly betrayed and it's the working classes who will be the one's to vote it in, however imperfect it is.

If the Tories are lucky they will be the minor partner in a coalition.....that's the best I can see for them.

They will be lucky to get that as frankly they don't deserve it.
Making such an assertion when the General Election is nearly 4 years away.
Conservatives made major announcements at Conference. We have a plan to deliver.
Labour have failed abysmally , because they came into office without a plan.
We've seen Reform promise the world, but not tell us how they would deliver.

I am now about to put on my 'Bib and tucker' as I am meeting some members of my party for a chinwag, some liquid refreshments and some culinary delights. 👍 👍

Well I hope you had a nice time anyway.

Nonetheless, it is always easier for a politician to criticise their own race or even another if they aren't White.
There is a deluded school of thought that thinks that only White people can be racist.

It is just another tactic to silence the majority.
In our world, where race is merely a social construct, anyone can be racist. If the colour of your skin is irrelevant in the determination of anything then it certainly is so in determining who can be a racist. Try asking Google whether there is a white race! This is how it responds:-

“White people is an invented racial classification that usually refers to people of European ancestry. Race itself is a political or social construction developed to advance the idea that people of some parts of the world—Europeans, for example—are superior to individuals from other regions—most often Africa and Asia.”

This won’t, of course, mean you will accept it and, together with your echo chamber companions, will continue to describe things that don’t actually exist.

People with white skins can be completely different to one another in every way, except the pigment of their skin. So can people with non white skins. What we should be talking about are the things that really unite people. Things like high ethics, morality and behaviour. Let the good be differentiated from the bad.

So if I walk down Walworth Road

The white people aren’t white
the black people aren’t black
The brown or Asian people aren’t

What are they all then?

This is a relief - I can now stop kneeling every morning in support of a man who died in the USA who was supposedly 'black' - it doesn't matter after all!

They are people.

Would you walk down Walworth Road noting the number of tall or short people? Or those with long or short noses? Or blue or black eyes? Or wearing black or brown shoes?

Unless you do why classify people by the colour of their skin? It might be more obvious, and has long been the subject of more prejudice, but it is no more relevant.

We need to put prejudices like this behind us and concentrate on the genuine concerns. Which exist for sure.

Is Guehi not black?

Is Henderson not white?

What about Kamada? Not Japanese?

I suppose the jerk chicken places aren’t Caribbean?

What else?
Do you think in the dressing room or out on the pitch any of them notice, let alone care?

They are team mates and our players. That’s what differentiates them from other people. Not any physical or ethnical characteristics.

In this post you make the usual point, avoiding the very fact of someone’s appearance and ethnic background.

You do know that police describe people according to their skin colour, no? So it applies in law yet not in your brain. Got it.

Yet in this post you accept that these people are a different skin colour. This is why you are a waste of time. Get another hobby or play bowls more.

So if skin colour does not have any impact on race then abusing someone for their appearance is not racist?
