Reform

Wouldn't they form a coalition? I would suspect Reform would be the senior party. But there is still time for things to happen. Labour need a Falklands style miracle - which I personally find a little worrying.
Thing is with this, back in '82 the amount of reservists that volunteered was unprecedented, even before they were officially called up, i, too, was among them. Now, fast forward 40 years the Armed Forces have shrunk to under half of what it was, most of the Navy is in the Gulf, the Army is now made up of primarily reserves & the RAF are so short of equipment a few badly needed squadrons would be non-operational.

When i go to reunions etc & Vets gatherings, there are present a lot of serving personnel & reservists, the the impression we get, is that not many of them would want to apply themselves for this current Govt, they swore an allegiance to the Monarch & the Country, NOT politicians, tho they are the one's who start/join wars but, never finish them & NEVER join the front line.

Labour need a miracle alright, but, not at the expense of the depleted Armed Forces.

I agree, but it doesn't mean Labour won't try it.
