For all those that say Parish should go or the board is tight etc etc. They have spent in Palace terms a small fortune. Now I am not saying for a second that I understand the thinking in some of these purchases but they have backed the club. I can’t say they have backed the manager because he had said long before the January window that he was going.
However It is now clear to all of us the Parish is not going to sack Glasner and we are going to go down to the wire on relegation. It is also clear that Glasner has lost the dressing room but is ill equipped to change anything. Any notion that this manager is anything other than a cup winning wonder is shown now. He is in and out. He will never succeed in a big club and I now actually believe he knows he will be found out and gets out before it goes tits up.
Where we are now is an utter joke. Baffling signings, baffling board. No vision of what the f*** or where the f*** we are going. We really are a joke at the moment and I am still f***ing fuming over last night.

He needs to act to get glasner out and then we can move forward
I cant understand why Parish hasn't put Glasner on Gardening leave, its certainly not because of the money, does he think we will be safe and that the Conference/Europa leagues are more trouble than they are worth, does he have a deal to sell his cut and leave the club, its almost like someone else is pulling the strings at the all of a sudden.
Our situation is not down to Glasner! It is down to the board. From the moment we won the cup they screwed up, we got demoted in Europe due to one of the board members which tells me they didn’t have much confidence in us winning the cup. We needed to replace with quality players those that were leaving and we had time to do it but the board never stepped up to the task. This board basically tied one of Glasner hands behind his back and said do it again! … Glasner has basically shown them the middle finger and good on him for doing so. It is in the best interests of the club to let Glasner go now and prepare for next season because whilst he is here he has the freedom to say what he likes and there is nothing the board can do.

Only 19 pages in this thread compared with 129 on th Glasner out one. Probably a fair reflection of feelings about both at the moment. A handful of Parish haters and a sizeable number of Glasner haters. Steve will be pleased!
What makes you believe it's not because of the money? I think that's exactly why it is. Glasner is wanting an easy pay out and SP is calling his bluff. It's smart. Unless i'm missing something?

It may be that the board are willing to let the clock run down on the season & let events take their natural course so long as relegation doesn't look like its going to be likely (at least up until the Burnley fiasco this week) My guess is they will leave OG in the position until we have concluded the conference league play offs, if we stay in the competition OG stays in his position, if we exit the cup then with only the PL to concentrate on its easier to consider who might take over or at least keep the seat warm until the summer.
Its not a pay out, he is still to be given about 900k in salary, peanuts if you look at the spending, putting him on gardening leave removes a big problem without costing anymore money, i don't think, for some reason Parish is calling the shots

I think he’s implying that parish’s ambition is just to avoid going down as in ‘would be’ happy to just finish 17th every season as avoid relegation.
I don’t think that textor interview helps when he basically said that (whether or not we believe him).
