The people who were really to blame were the morons who put the safety of players above the safety of supporters by allowing the fences to be put up in the first place.

I fully agree that the fences were a terrible idea.

I understand why some people thought they were necessary at the time of their introduction; however, they did turn out to be the wrong proposition to the hooliganism problems of the time.

Slot has bemoaned the fact that his team are too nice and don't make the most out of fouls against them! Wtf!!

He singled out gakpo for not making a meal out of that "shove in a back" by hughes leading up to sarr's goal.

Gakpo did go down when he was hardly touched anyway!
