More like a student from "the Douglas bader ,school of ballet!"...Even so running up like Douglas Bader isn't a good thing.

Agreed, Dougie wasn't a great penalty taker, but he was pretty good with his head so I am led to believe.Even so running up like Douglas Bader isn't a good thing.
Certainly was good in the air.Agreed, Dougie wasn't a great penalty taker, but he was pretty good with his head so I am led to believe.
The official enquiry doesn't agree with you ,even the Sun newspaper acknowledged they made stories up ,why are you still repeating the lies ?.
You sound very bitter and angry at an entire city .
The booing of the national anthem is an anti English thing ,they feel more Irish.
Started with the potato famine ,many came from Ireland to Liverpool.
The Thatcher years ,managed decline of the city .
Hillsborough cover up .
It's an anti establishment feeling .
Yes Heysel was on a section of Liverpool fans ,the 70 / 80 s were the bad old days for many clubs .
We probably had a firm aswell .
Cheer up AS, you'd feel worse if you were a Liverpool supporter.Typical Palace - high for a day and then lose the appeal. We're never allowed to enjoy anything for long.
Yeah. All they've got to look back on are 20 league titles, 8 FA cups and 6 European Cups. Losers.Cheer up AS, you'd feel worse if you were a Liverpool supporter.

Beaten into submission.
I’m not ‘repeating the lies’, these things ALL happened as I have no reason to doubt the accounts of SO many from that day. They are world renowned for it, they did it the year before in the VERY same fixture, just without the catastrophic consequences! They have some sick sort of pride about being able to get in without tickets, even to this day they gloat about being able to get in at ANY cost.
I also can’t twist, distort or erase my own experiences of them at the many football matches I’ve been to or worked at involving them. Or from being abused and goaded by their scummy supporters as a young man as I parked my car pre-match near Villa Park in 1990, then being spat on through the central dividing railings by vile scouse ten year olds on the Holte End after we’d taken the lead. Or me and my mate then being set upon by the VERY same people I’d seen in the car park earlier when returning to my vehicle - all because little old Palace had beaten their team…f***ing Scum!
Through my career I’ve also been privy to more intel and information (that will never see the light of day), that simply cannot be ignored, erased or forgotten.
Neuroplasticity - how the brain adapts and is affected by everything we do, everything we see, hear or are exposed to and the things we experience. It’s a scientific fact.
Yes I am bitter and yes, with good reason! It’s not just me either, there are reasons why Liverpool / Scousers have the reputation they do and why there are such Negative stereotypes.
For me the real disgust stems from the fact that despite EVERYTHING that has happened before, they still don’t change, still do the same things and still don’t give a fcuk! And then still have the audacity to forever play the victim card!!!
Apologies if some don’t like it, that’s just how it is.
Moving on.
An interesting assessment of the match from a tactical standpoint
