Yes, he's an average blocker type but not really commanding. He tends to react after the play / incident rather than anticipating it, something Guehi was good at. He's also really slow.

Applying this tactical formation will see us take a few hefty hammerings until it is fixed. If Sage can't change his approach with the players at his command then I suspect he will have to go, because we are shipping goals at an alarming rate.

He is by some distance our best player in this game. Both defensively and in making anything happen

It's not about instant success, it's about a team that looks like it knows what its doing. We got lucky against Fulham and Boro but here the chaos is on full display.
