Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

In reality these reporters don't know a great deal more than any of us on here with regard to the day's proceedings.

They are not in the room but have to say something when asked to report i.e 'Let's cut over to..... ....... for the latest. '

What follows is conjecture and speculation .
I suspect there will be some contradictory stories emerging before the actual decision is announced - some saying we're in, some saying we're out.
Yeah, you might as well read this thread.

Private eye have a fictitious journalist called Phil Space. Nuff said...

Bbc, Steve Parish calling for common sense. 3mins ago

If that is his argument he has no chance at the end of the day it's not about whats "right" or "common sense"

It's what is written as the rules.

At the end of the day we are a multi club owned SP can cry all he likes about it that is a FACT it is now about providing evidence about influence (I believe UEFA classes influence when an owner has over a % of a club)

Well the 1st March date has already been proven to be a guide rather than set in stone as UEFA has confirmed 1st May was really the date for changes to be completed.

Influence is clearly more subjective - the % is just one indicator. UEFA already mentioned that Textor paid off our covid loan and his money was used to upgrade our academy as 'evidence' of his influence.

So it's clearly not as black and white as you suggest.

this is my worry.

That if common sense was applied, and all the dodgy shiz that Forrest are doing we'd be back in.

But, the worry is that they will just say Uefa applied the rule correctly. We'll ask them to apply it more consistently and look at some other stuff moving forward.

Funny, I thought the structure of voting was deliberately structured so that Palace WEREN’T part of an MCO.

The other argument is coming across as 'whataboutery' which won't wash either.
When you are stopped for speeding and complain 'But someone just overtook me' are you really going to get off?

Interesting comment on influence via paying to upgrade our academy. I wonder what influence Lord Ali has after upgrading Kier Starmer’s wardrobe and reading glasses…
