Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

I think the fact that they've chucked this other club out already is a good indication that we probably would have been by now too if we were going to be 🤞🏻if that makes sense😄

Yeah I get that. As i said in my post, the deadline is long gone.

However, to resolve the current situation in a timely fashion, surely if UEFA permitted Textor to place his shares in a Blind Trust now it would at least temporarily resolve the issue. The outcome would be similar to if he sold his shares - which he wants to do and could still do at a later date.

It would make sense, wouldn’t it . can’t have sense though can we? That’s why it’s such a shambles.

Beanos was the biggest second hand music shop in Europe at one point. I discovered so many bands through that shop and had a great time bantering with the staff.

Take Woolworths and Beanos out of a town and it's hardly any wonder knife crime rises.
 
I still think there's a chance we'll go into the draw in August without having had any further tangible update. We'll all go "what was that about then?" meanwhile it will turn out UEFA were pretty happy with everything and just needed a few boxes ticked. The whole thing goes without any pomp and we all have to find something else to worry about.

(From now on I enter the realms of fantasy:
Glasner extends his contact as does Guehi, Eze, Wharton and Mateta. We win the Europa League. The Main Stand gets built. Seagulls get a new strain of avian flu that wipes out their entire population. Jennifer Lawrence pops over for a cuppa.)

Everyone realises Parish, Textor, UEFA, Marinakis are all fine upstanding gentlemen that got stuff done, life is peachy.
 
My argument is Lyon take priority because they finished higher in their league! HOWEVER, surely winning your countries domestic Cup competition trumps that. Also didnt there used to be a competition called the CUP WINNERS CUP? And THAT'S why that if there WAS conflict of interest that Crystal Palace and NOT Lyon, Brondby, Melchester Rovers or whoever else should NOT be on the competition!

Oh I concur, I am very much in the optimistic camp. Objectively though, ignoring our predicament, the league position being taken into account when we won a cup is a noddy rule even if it's a rule everyone is signed up to.
