I am a big Parish fan, but when we got to the Final, on April 26, he should have seen the possible consequences of what may happen and have a plan in place, like Notts Forests owner Evangelos Marinakis had, i hope all works out, but its 50/50 for me.

I think the blind trust thing that the forest owner done, had to be done by the end of March.

I suppose it was something parish was not willing to let happen at that time.

UEFA changed the deadline as last year was much later which benefited Man U. The things a farce anyway as does anyone believe the forest owner will have no say or influence over his Greek club in the next year or wouldn’t put money into the club if needed. How is it policed that the rules have been followed once in place. Multi owner door is now open and can’t see it being shut

Are they Textors shares or Eagle Football Holding Ltd shares. As Eagle Football Holdings Ltd have 9 active directors, it depends how the ownership model of Palace and Lyon are structured.
They arent going to sell their shares at a loss or below market value, they are businessmen not fans.

Saw something saying he would sell at 25% loss on market value. No clue how much that is but it’s probabaly still a sh*tload. Parish & Co don’t have the money of most other prem clubs to spend in a heartbeat so god knows how this plays out..

I don't know the details of Textor's situation, but I would guess that he would be quite glad of getting some quick money from the sale of his share in the club. As I understand it, he has financial difficulties elsewhere that need fixing.
Maybe, taking a loss on the deal might be a good option for him right now.

The longer this drags on, the more fearful I become that we will not be allowed to participate. Surely CPFC must have known this was an issue BEFORE we won the cup? If we cannot compete then this is a very damning indictment of the board.
