Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

On Friday morning I was quietly confident that the outcome was going to go our way - then it was delayed, now clickbait news of Textor stepping back from Lyon (however believable, or not)
Unfortunately I am now sitting here thinking that the French in UEFA & French authorities in French League 1 & Lyon have all got together & done a deal - where we weren't even at the table.

I cannot see Monday going our way -
I really hope I am wrong.

Nothing goes against us Monday only for us. If UEFA vote us in its done. Even Forest are unlikely to protest as it would make themselves look bad and they'd probably lose and they know it.
If we are blocked from competing by UEFA we simply go to CAS where nearley every expert (in fact EVERY expert I've heard talk about it) believes we would win.
I'll be delighted if we are in tomorrow, not hugely concerned if we dont. You have to remember UEFA dont like a fight. They'd rather kick the can down the road and let someone else deal with it. I'd not be at all surprised if that happened. Not overly worried though.

The main thing is that UEFA cannot take away our first major domestic trophy, which we have waited so long for. European football is the icing on the cake which once attained everyone then seems to complain about it affecting league performances. Wouldnt be surprised if we get shafted again by UEFA just like back in 1991.

So it seems unlikely that there is some kind of French conspiracy to eject Palace in favour of Lyon.

Supposedly uefa give their verdict tomorrow. I trust Parish has argued our case well and stood up for the club in a moment when the last 3/4 weeks have been so frustrating. a lot of news/articles you see come from an inherently skeptical position about the possibility of us being cleared to play with no real understanding of the agreements reached between Palace, Textor, uefa, & our new shareholder. Even if is sensationalist it still creates that bit of doubt. Hopefully we’ll be fine.
