I think the club may be trying to get a compromise out of UEFA. If we win and CAS find in our favour, I am not sure how easy it would be to change the situation for either us or Forest. So, hereās my compromise-we play in the Conference with a bye into next yearās Europa League. To give us an incentive, if we win the Conference our Europa League entry is upgraded to a Champions League place. Forest canāt complain as they keep their Europa League place and Palace just get a delayed entry into our rightful competition, with an upgrade if we do well. Simples! If we can't strengthen the squad with enough players (no idea what the club is planning), all the fuss about the Europa League/Conference League is pointless. It reminds me of someone fighting a ban from a top restaurant in the highest court, even though they know they can't afford to eat there anyway.
And just 25% of the voting rights.Eagle Holdings did, not him. He had about 22% personally
More likely a token fine for a technical breech of inappropriate rules, with UEFA instructed to rewrite them removing the blind trust workaround unless the shares are held by UEFA nominees. We get our UEFA place reinstated and Forest keep what they were entitled to. Thus losing nothing.I think the club may be trying to get a compromise out of UEFA. Can CAS "instruct" UEFA or merely "recommend"?More likely a token fine for a technical breech of inappropriate rules, with UEFA instructed to rewrite them removing the blind trust workaround unless the shares are held by UEFA nominees. All parties are required to accept the decision when agreeing to the process. Can CAS "instruct" UEFA or merely "recommend"?
I think that sounds complex and likely the opposite of what anyone wants. Wouldn't be surprised if they deferred our Europa League place til next season and we withdrew entirely from Europe this season. Although that's still complex...I think the club may be trying to get a compromise out of UEFA. that wont happen CAS will either reinstate us or find in favour of UEFA , we asked tobe reinstated thats our whole case , so it black and white , and UEFA wont go for what you are suggesting , nor will CASI think the club may be trying to get a compromise out of UEFA. I do not think there is any chance of anyone being bumped a year or getting auto qualification next year because all that would happen is a club will sue UEFA for not being let in when they should be on merit. Can you imagine the fuss if one of the top 4 missed entry into the EL because of us getting a freebie.I think that sounds complex and likely the opposite of what anyone wants. I'd take that though. We're not ready this year for a Europa League campaign but with it deferred a year we would be and we'd be able to put to bed any MCO concerns by then.

You're right. It's Sunday and this has dragged on for a while. The only reasonable course here is a fine, we go back in the EL and Forest go in the Conference.
Go for a few jars to go down with the football, itās what me and the Missus have done COYPYou're right. It's Sunday and this has dragged on for a while. I felt compelled to say something with no substance.
