If we can't strengthen the squad with enough players (no idea what the club is planning), all the fuss about the Europa League/Conference League is pointless. I think the club may be trying to get a compromise out of UEFA. If we win and CAS find in our favour, I am not sure how easy it would be to change the situation for either us or Forest. So, here’s my compromise-we play in the Conference with a bye into next year’s Europa League. To give us an incentive, if we win the Conference our Europa League entry is upgraded to a Champions League place. Forest can’t complain as they keep their Europa League place and Palace just get a delayed entry into our rightful competition, with an upgrade if we do well. Simples!

UEFA writing their rules in a way which ignores reality ought to mean that CAS determines they were not fit for their intended purpose and therefore conflict with the natural justice that underpins their very existence.

This is as much a test for CAS as it is for UEFA. I bet the 3 adjudicators are having conversations with the President over the weekend.

More likely a token fine for a technical breech of inappropriate rules, with UEFA instructed to rewrite them removing the blind trust workaround unless the shares are held by UEFA nominees. We get our UEFA place reinstated and Forest keep what they were entitled to. Thus losing nothing.

All parties are required to accept the decision when agreeing to the process.

So whilst instruction is probably not possible any recommendations will carry a lot of weight. If ignored they would face immediate overturning of some decisions.

I think that sounds complex and likely the opposite of what anyone wants. Wouldn't be surprised if they deferred our Europa League place til next season and we withdrew entirely from Europe this season. Although that's still complex...

I'd take that though. We're not ready this year for a Europa League campaign but with it deferred a year we would be and we'd be able to put to bed any MCO concerns by then.

that wont happen CAS will either reinstate us or find in favour of UEFA , we asked tobe reinstated thats our whole case , so it black and white , and UEFA wont go for what you are suggesting , nor will CAS

reminds of a time I took my dog for a late walk over the park , and I could hear noise near the bushes , and there was a couple being very active , all I said was get in son and for some reason they panicked🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I do not think there is any chance of anyone being bumped a year or getting auto qualification next year because all that would happen is a club will sue UEFA for not being let in when they should be on merit. Can you imagine the fuss if one of the top 4 missed entry into the EL because of us getting a freebie.
