Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

CAS will decide whether they think we did or didn't break some rules that are frankly so open to interpretation that I struggle to see how they could say we did break the rules. But they might and then for all intents and purposes the verdict will be "the wider ownership of CPFC were in violation of the rules". Granted, only one of the owners were responsible.

I don't disagree with you in essence. The people saying it are semantically incorrect, but from a broader perspective the neutral fan will only hear "Palace did or didn't break the rules".
It would be just semantics if Textor and Palace were essentially the same thing but Textor was only ever a shareholder with a minority stake and now has nothing to do with Palace. Punishing Palace for something Textor maybe should have done makes no sense.

But yes opposition fans will say that it was ‘Palace’. Palace fans need to be clear that it was not.

It's because they aren't the same thing that it's semantics. Or is that just semantics? Do we agree semantically? I've confused myself now 😂

My mates daughter goes out with a Norwich player. He’s going to forest apparently, then getting loaned straight out to a Greek club ! Now that’s multi club ownership.
Maranakis might as well have his shares in a blind trust all the time, just run it behind the scenes and do what he wants.

It's rather like punishing the innocent (OG), who have actually won a major competition, in favour of Nottingham Forest who haven't won anything.

It's 'euro-balls' to be frank.

😡

The time this appeal is taking has a lot to answer for!
always going tobe long drawn out appeal when hearing date announced , 1 day going through boxs of evidence 2 days to find the for and against , doesnt help uefa delayed delayed then delayed some more , im hoping that may bite them in the arse , when CAS makes there call , looking forward to it monday

You need to understand more about the weeds mate
Generally I try to expunge most things Brighton from the memory banks.

That said, my early recollections of "The Nobos" (apposite 1980s sponsors) include

  • a childhood away game at the Goldstone (around 1988 ish; a painful 1-3 loss and an early lesson of how soul destroying a weak ref is when the home crowd pipe up),
  • stick levelled at Clive Walker as he was taking throw ins for Brighton shortly after (allegedly) getting in a spot of trouble with the police, and
  • the infamous 5 penalties match at Selhurst Park.

At a delicate state of courtship with Mrs Cube (before she was Mrs Cube) I made the mistake of driving her to a romantic getaway on the coast. On the way, the route took us unexpectedly past the Amex Stadium. I let my guard slip: amidst a barrage of blue language, relflex actions took over as I spat in the direction of the stadium. I realized the car window was closed only post-gob. I had some making up to do after that, but I must have had some credit in the bank as all's well that ends well.
