Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

He made it sound really straight forward. And its true, Real Madrid have made bigger mistakes than this and been helped out by UEFA. I honestly think if Palace are excluded they have a great case for suing UEFA. Something I'm sure is also in the back of the minds of UEFA officials too.
Suing UEFA looks like poking the bear (that looks wrong in print).

So you are another one on here that thinks Textor should have put his shares into a Blind Trust after we won our 4th round FA Cup tie. In February. That's ludicrous.

At the moment UEFA are investigating to what extent - if any - Palace have fallen foul of their rules. Rules which if you read them are open to subjective interpretation.

And who is the '' corrupt french Footballing outfit '' ?
No, i don't see anyone saying that, what they are saying that at the beginning of the season it should be known what the criteria is and get confirmation from UEFA, every year, that is basic business strategy, and with the rushed trips to Switzerland, obviously, all is not plain sailing

Also ludicrous

I think the Independent article pointed out how badly written the current rules are.
The thing is, it doesn't matter what the rules say, the key was getting confirmation from UEFA in advance, If you have that there is no problem, If, and i say If, we haven't met the criteria then the fault is with Palace not UEFA, lets hope that this isn't the case.

Are you talking about yourself, it isn't ludicrous to know the rules of the game before you start.
You’ve proven yourself ludicrous on here on a regular basis. This is just one in a series.

How do you know Parish didn’t know the rules ?

All but you and another couple of people on here recognise the fact that the deadline for the Blind Trust option is not a workable one in this instance. So even if Palace realised they were going to fall foul of the multi club ownership rules, after March 1st there is nothing they could do about it.

And if you look at the rules themselves they are hardly water tight in terms of the detail. They are open to interpretation and challenge which is what is happening now.

I realise that as soon as something goes wrong at Palace people like you immediately want a scapegoat but that’s because you fail to see a bigger picture.

I doubt you’ll be able to resist replying to this so I’ll let you have the last word because I should just learn to ignore you or block you

No, i am sure they had the plane booked to Switzerland months and months ago

Now, I know it's the bbc, but . . .

Edit: Sorry Foxy, just seen you have posted the same.
BBC is good source material as they will only post these sort of articles after decent amount of research

All those saying why didn’t we put into blind trust should read this. Blind trust was unlikely to ever be a viable solution for us, combined with Textor looking to sell his stake

This bit, it is also well reported, admittedly some time ago, that Textor wanted to buy Palace lock stock n barrel. Trouble is, IMHO, Textor is playing the room.

What a load of crap. So you're saying Palace should ask UEFA every summer what we need to do to get into Europe when no other club does any such thing? That would give them a good laugh. I'd imagine the answer would be win a domestic cup or finish in the top 6 of your league.

Maybe March is too early though
