Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

Where has anyone said Textor was a 100% silent partner? He was a 25% partner and the threshold within UEFA is 30%. UEFA are ignoring our company set up, or should I say Marinakis has probably paid them to ignore our set up.

Are you able to say what the compliance instructions were? Because if they said you must have less than 30% control of a club ie their own threshold then we would argue he did have less than 30%.
Our problem with Uefa seems to be confusion over what would significant control look like. It seems to me at least, that Uefa think the size of a share holding is the key, hence the stupid allowing of blind trusts, as if that has any effect what so ever on how much control anyone with shares in a blind trust has in the period of its effect. Control could only ever be measured in voting rights, in our case it’s possible Textors actual voting rights were not even 25%.
If CAS can not see how ridiculous Uefa,s position actually is then there is no hope for the game in general.

Forgive the ignorant question but would we have historical records of how various key decisions were voted upon? I have a feeling that someone answered this somewhere in the 190 odd pages, apologies if so.

Apparently CAS have already laughed at two clubs with better cases than us, so I think we’d better get used to the thought of conference football

Textor owns just 51% of Eagle Football holdings. Eagle Football holdings did own 43% of Palace's shares and had 25% voting rights.
This basically means (in the event that Eagle Football's directors disagreed with him) he only really controlled around 22% of Palace's shares and only really had 12.5% voting rights.
This is being pedantic I know as if you own 51% of a company you still really maintain control. But... This could still be presented to CAS in a demonstration of how ridiculous UEFA are being.

Thats not right. We have a better case than those other clubs whose families run both clubs by the way but I do see what you are saying. Its not a certainty that CAS will rule in our favour.
Though I still believe they will

My stance is that we're getting European football so happy days. Does that mean I don't want us to appeal? Does it mean I don't feel robbed? Does it mean that I prefer this outcome? Well, funnily enough people seem to have inferred those things from my previous posts, but all I mean is that the minimum now is more palatable (for me) than I feared. I do respect those that think it's such an inferior tournament that it becomes a dangerous distraction from our league season, but for me it's still quite exciting.

For me, it's like being at the fun fair and you put three darts in the bullseye to win the 6ft teddy for your daughter, only to be told that as it's a Tuesday you can only have the bag of candy floss instead...

If I read your question correctly, I personally am not aware of any such records. Any reference I make to the voting rights of Textor is a loose interpretation of what Textor, and Parish, have said very publicly on the subject.

The analogy works for me but I am going to counter it by saying the Conference is a 3ft teddy for me.

Also my son won a 5ft stuffed chameleon at his school fair and I was the muggins that had to carry it around all afternoon while people went "oh, did you win that?" It was a f**king pain.

Oh sure, whilst I quoted your post I wasn't querying your words or putting it upon you to know the answer. Just wondered if anyone knew. I'd like to think such documentation would be a 'smoking gun' for CAS because I think it'd be pretty apparent that Textor had about as much power as someone with 2,000 loyalty points and a lapsed membership.
