Of-Communists

Growing up I was so grateful for my white privilege.

If I had been unlucky I could have been brought up in a council slum having to share a bed with my younger brother and never having new clothes or holidays. I could also have gone to a dustbin state school where no one had ever gone to university.

Boy was I lucky that wasn't me, I had white privilege, oh hang on that was me.

Ironically my best mate is Nigerian, his dad was a big cheese in banking so he grew up in a posh house in Dulwich, pity he never had the advantages I had in life. 😀

I had it similar.

I had to grow up on Stockwell Park Estate in Brixton in the 80s, which was being run by a loony left council at the time. The estate was majority non white and in lots of ways I learnt what life is starting to be like and is going to worsen for lots of 'I'm not racist' Britons, forty years ago.

As a teenager I wasn't the type to bow my head and as a result by the time we had moved out (and that's what happens) I had broken bones in my hand, scars and nearly lost my life to a pickaxe handle during a gang (posse) attack....I was lucky that day. That attack and my sister being mugged was the final straw for my old man....oh and sh1t being put through our letterbox didn't help either.

Lots of people are understanding what 'buyer's remorse' feels like.....they are starting to understand what the difference is between warm egalitarian words and the actual consequences of those ideas. Some of you won't like to hear these words but I predict that 'whites' and those who identify will increasing start to vote like other ethnic groups and thus expressly in their own interests.....because their politicians have sold them down the river....especially the conservative ones who directly lied to them.

It's very easy to live in a nice safe, high majority white, reasonably maintained area of the country where higher social trust reigns and is taken for granted and have a completely gaslight view of the world outside of that. I've come across this attitude many times from liberal middle class whites.....it's almost similar to believing in Disney movies.

Don't get me wrong, some people prefer a lifestyle that is a negative for the majority. A flower can bloom near the desert, but those are either Antifa types or that type who'd never liked the Anglo Saxon lifestyle anyway. They don't represent most of the country.....but they want the rest of the country to have to live in their Uptonian cesspit and like it or shut up.

The majority were never asked and it never had to be that way.....but those who would have changed it weren't backed or supported because the boomers trusted their leaders....That's the problem with the English and western whitey generally - too trusting for its own good. Too interested in being nice than in protecting the future.

Post war our leaders were no different to those old corner shop owners, who sold up and retired and didn't care who they sold to....ultimately in the final analysis bad stewards.

What will be, will be I guess.

I find it interesting that some ethnic groups with a reputation for hard work and family values have more in common with white people than with other ethnic groups. Sikhs, Hindus and black conservative Christians are natural Tories if the Tory party wake up and ditch the woke nonsense.

To answer Dan:

I've been asked quite a few times to provide statistics in the past. It involves work but I've done this in the past, even ensured that I could avoid the usual fudge and excuses by focusing on metrics that you lot can't lie about....for example homicide rates for different eras, say a hundred years ago compared to now, Police numbers v population size.

However, even when the stats are presented, we just get the usual mixture of passive aggressive excuses from you lot. The fact is that....like how the grooming gangs were able to exist for decades (still are), you guys are prepared to throw everything and one under the bus to save your own ill ideology.....Like the progressive parent who encouraged their child to be trans, you will never admit that the real source of the illness is in the mirror.

Your obsession with trans people is just plain weird. But ignoring that part, let’s just pretend that you’ve put some actual hard evidence in there and gone for police ratios as your second metric of what supposedly made the era before you were born better? Not sure that would trouble my top 50 things I’d try to measure to try and achieve some sort of meaningful result for this but fair play. And even if you are taking that police numbers were hugely cut as part of Osborne’s austerity drive and still haven’t recovered fully to the same numbers.

Even if you take grooming gangs as a supposedly new issue for modern times I’ve got a whole Catholic Church issue for you to have a little bit of research into.

Are there many sh*t things about the modern age? Undoubtedly. We’d probably agree on many. Were there also sh*t things about bygone decades - very much so. Trying to claim that there was some sort of ‘golden era’ is just plain nostalgic nonsense.

the reason for me being right wing...

- i spent much time in the former Soviet Union, before the fall of the Berlin Wall.

- and i know many people from Eastern Europe.

- all the other evidence.

commie politics.............no thanks.

The trans point wasn't about the 'trans' issue, but ideology and again, I wasn't referring to 'golden eras'.....my point is that social liberalism is directly at fault for worsening social metrics and the plain evidence is there. I've literally done this work in the past, the homicide rates and Police numbers can be seen literally over many decades....not some recent 'austerity' reaction excuse you can point at during one or two parliaments.

Also, how does going on about the Catholic Church change what I'm saying? Where that was happening and covered up those people should be and mostly have been hounded out....the Catholic Church has suffered much as a result of its actions.

However, seeing how you bring this up and feel fine about mentioning the Catholics, how about Mosques and Islam? What about the massive scandal that the left and media keep under wraps about sexual abuse and exploitation of the underaged and children within Islam? Where has the media exposure been on that? No, when it comes to their 'protected class' the reaction is to minimise the negative and celebrate and praise them.....The two tier nature of the left, anti its own (apart from their own circle) and pro the 'other'......in effect is just carrying water for certain elites.

Yes, there are many sh1te things about modern life and they have causes and that's why they should be re-evaluated.....It's what changed me from being left wing as a teenager to being a social conservative later on.....Comparing the messaging I was receiving to what I was actually observing in real life.

Where? You might genuinely change my mind if you can provide it.

You're asking me to do all that research again aren't you Dan.

Tell you what, if you can't be bothered to do it yourself tomorrow I'll go looking for the homicide stats over the decades again.....the data is out there.

I wouldn’t even know where to start to be honest, I’m not sure it’s something you can even really agree what parameters to measure in the first place to give you a meaningful conclusion.

Genuinely interested in what you have though - no rush.

Ok, so here are the statistics showing how the number of murders in the country kept stable in the country from when records were reliably kept in 1898 broadly up until roughly 1962. This stability is seen even though the population is continually rising. I believe that this is strong evidence for many factors but not least that a socially conservative culture and strong sense of national self naturally produces a higher trust society.

After 1962 we start to see a continual rise in homicides within the country (after 97 the stats are relatively stable at that level) . This continual 35 year rise, in my view, like many situations is influenced by several factors. The abolition of capital punishment, immigration, greater use of drugs and other factors which essentially add up to the effect of the society changing from cultural social conservativism to social liberalism.

I chose homicides to look at essentially because it's a harder area for institutions to fudge and re-categorise for political reasons. Something both Conservative and Labour governments have been guilty of doing......Essentially someone is either murdered or not.

Essentially the reality of this....the fact that all the warm words of social liberalism sound nice but in effect end up with worse consequences was a big factor in opening my eyes many years ago now.

Before the sixties gays, unmarried mothers etc. were stigmatised and unfairly treated. I don't think anyone wants a return to that. However the needle then swung the other way so now we celebrate human differences to the point of absurdity.

I suspect like most people I just want people to be treated fairly, not stigmatised but not awarded protected status either.

As I have mentioned before there is no need for all this DEI structure, we have laws in the country and work tribunals that even the unions think are fair. Companies have HR they don't need separate DEI staff as well.

A good company will ensure that from senior management on down their staff understand their responsibilities for treating people fairly. All Trump is doing is dismantling the corporate over head and the positive discrimination which can lower standards. I notice that on a daily level more and more American companies are ditching their DEI programs probably because they are fed up with the low quality staff they are forced to recruit.

If I was black / gay / Trans etc. I would be offended if I was know as the DEI hire.

i have always said tolerate gays and give them respect. But not to put them on a pedestal as higher than everybody else. Some People are born gay the same as some people are born left-handed. Viva la difference.

Unmarried mothers.......... it takes work , effort , and good luck to make a relationship work. And for it to survive. Our current society seems to want all mothers to be single mothers sucking on the taxpayers teat. What rewards or respect for Trad mothers ? few and far between. Commies & Liberals hate the nuclear family. They now reward women for choosing to reproduce with feckless dads, long-term unemployed losers and the five-minute marriage (& divorce). We also now have a gangsta culture wherein a Lad gets kudos for having a ton of kids with a ton of different baby-mummies......and the taxpayer picks up the tab.
Its hypocritical to extol Conservative Family Values when Boris leads the way ( 8 by 3 mummies ? ).

well then, you and i are opposites Sterling. I went from a very affluent leafy suburb to one of the roughest parts of South London.
Its curious that both our outlooks are now very similar.

I would agree with most if not all of that, however what I would say is that all the negatives of the social conservativism (of the past) you refer to in your first two paragraphs had practical reasons behind them.

There was a very good reason that unmarried mothers were stigmatised.....namely that there was no welfare net for them, no birth control and thus women having babies put a massive financial burden onto families....Many of whom couldn't afford that. It was extremely important that a new child brought into the world had a working and committed father putting bread on the table and a mother to raise and nurture (common sense).

If that culture hadn't stigmatised them then we would quickly have resembled the third world.....not perhaps in levels of violence and institutional breakdown but certainly in much higher levels of poverty.

Before the pill, there were only cultural controls to stop this behaviour and I personally am not of the mind that our ancestors were somehow being horrible, but rather in fact being sensible stewards trying to not worsen lives for everybody.

In terms of homosexuality, while I agree that I think it went overboard and that many regrettable things happened the principle reason for it again relates to birth rates. Social conservativism has a far more sensible understanding that the population absolutely must be maintained at a level which can be supported and thus the practical inputs were the chief method for viewing homosexuality negatively.

I think in more modern times, while I...like you....want homosexuality to be treated better than in the past, I also agree with you that the reverse to it being promoted and encouraged, like some kind of superpower is itself a negative. The effect on birth rates for example is madness...along with birth control pills it's already destroyed pensions for our descendants......We need common sense approaches, not activism.

This common sense attitude is supported by socially conservative gays themselves, Douglas Murray and David Starkey for example.

Spot on.

I look at what has been done to the country realising that the future for our children will be worse than it was for us.....and I feel genuinely sad. It's been bad stewardship and now they spend a lot of time gaslighting these kids at school to convince them that it's wonderful......They won't own a home, less high paying jobs, less chance of monogamous relationships and children...Higher crime, lower social trust....Yet apparently clapping blokes wearing dresses is meant to be important.

Totally bonkers.

If you think the low birth rate is because of 'the gays' then you might want to do a bit more research into how bloody expensive it is to raise a child at the moment. We were not in a financial position to do it until mid-30s, and this was with both of us with decent careers established and a solid joint income. Even then, my wife is currently on a one year career break as it was going to cost us more to put two in child care than she was earning each month.

If you want people to have more kids, making it more affordable to have housing, childcare and try to keep the general cost of living down.
