It's like we set up to counter, but then don't counter with pace. So I'm really not sure what we're trying to do at the moment. I'm a Glasner fan...but unsure what we are at the moment.

Boring first half, no ideas going forwards and letting Forrest put crosses in all over the place. Get Kamada off, put Mateta on up front WITH Nketiah, not Nketiah on the wing instead!

Absolutely dire, devoid of any attacking ideas. Eze should have been sold in the summer at a discount. He is not adding anything to the team at all.
Kamada has been ok, breaking up play and had a few good breaks.
Hughes is playing well.
There must be a reason why we are so poor in every area, considering we spent a decent amount over the summer considering our budget.

We have three central defenders and two out of the three are constantly out of position.

Munoz and Mitchell are providing very little width so we might as well go 4-4-2 and get Mateta on and take control of the midfield with Eze playing attacking mid behind Mateta and Nketiah.

Good points
- the back 3 have a better balance with Chaloboah on the right and Guehi on the left
- Eze had a few good moments

Bad points
- Munoz is showing a marked reluctance to bomb down the outside and keeps stopping or checking inside
- Nketiah doesn't have the attributes to battle their centre halves
- Kamada again struggling

Our best chances have come from going pretty direct, yet we seem to want to endlessly short pass. Until we get caught in possession and lose it.
This is the very epitome of our system not working. Munoz or Mitchell are offering next to nothing going forward, yet our system relies on that.
We are constantly making the wrong attacking choices.

complete and utter tripe, when consider the team that finished last season,
Hendersen
Richards, Andersen, Guehi
Munoz Wharton, Guehi, Mitchell
Olise, Mateta, Eze

All we needed was a class left footed replacement for Olise, and yet we end up with Mateta on the bench,
and Nketiah, Kamada, Sarr, and 3 more CBs, most of which don't fit in at all with this system

Munoz is so short of confidence. He is reluctant to take players on, and always looks to release the ball as quickly as possible.

We are missing that creative spark and someone up front to pass it to.

We mustn’t let Forest get the early goal. Come on Palace - you can win this

As I've said before, you either buy / pick the players that fit the system or you pick the system to fit the players. At the moment we need to change the system, because we are all over the place using this system.
