Agreed. As thrilled as I'd be to get him, I'd also be mildly suspicious and a little concerned if he did join us. It would probably indicate that he didn't quite get the big job he wanted and is either treading water with us for the very short term, or has rushed into it on the rebound.
 
I saw that Keane is now favourite to be the next Celtic manager (as well as, for some reason, still being the favourite for us). This makes more sense than a move to the PL at this stage of his managerial career. Does anyone know why he's the favourite for the Palace job? Is it just because someone dropped a pile of cash on him?

Somebody in the press may have asked there usual loaded question would he like to manage in the prem say crystal palace and he may had said maybe , hence why he is favourite and someone had a bet on him , see in press eyes thats a 1000% yes he is going to palace

I think it is simpler to have a list of those in the Premier League who will not be available. It’s not very long and would include Parker, Moyes, Guardiola, Le Bris, Emery, Nuno, Andrews, Hürzeler. Some of the others will depend on the team’s situation at the end of the season.

One name not on the list is Marco Silva who Parish really likes. I understand he has not yet signed a new one. I am not sure it would be a popular choice but there is no doubt he has achieved a lot with Foolham.

Silva secured promotion to the PL in his first season at Fulham.
Since then they have finished 10th,13th and 11th. At present they sit in 12th place.

Lots of independent journalists there part of click bait brigade so maybe the general press doesn't think to much about it , none of the names have been heavly linked to the club as of yet , its still on speculation rather than fact , and bookmakers us that in cases like ours

Parish, the club and board don't have a f***ing clue, so no idea how the press and bookies do.
