We need to spend in January, I dont care if glasner is leaving, managers are just coaches these days, they're paid good money to coach, if you can't continue with a squad good enough for the previous manager then you shouldnt be one, especially not at the highest level.
England
I hear you but I don't think you can properly judge managers on team built to other managers requirements and philosophy.
Football is replete with situations where that doesn't work.
This! The "problem" was that we took a step to much or too quickly in the step to step approach as funny as it sounds. And unfortunately the funds required for this progress are probably not available. We did find ourselves in an unusual situation. Clubs such as ours that qualify for Europe right at the end of the season either by winning the FA Cup or by sneaking a place in the league, find it difficult to recruit for the following season. It would never have been in the short term plan to be looking to build on a squad in preparation for so many games.

He has played 3-4-2-1 for his past 168 matches, for Palace and Frankfurt. Is this team built by Glasners requirements tho or did he come in and identify the best formation suited to this group of players ? Id say the latter as he's pretty open about 442 being his favourite formation and has used 433 in the past.

I cannot make a case for the momentum being maintained due to the fixture schedule and the unavailability of players.A case of running before we can walk?
The funny thing is that Glasner seemed to have defied the odds and kept the momentum going even with the sale of Eze and Olise.
I doubt too many foresaw this improvement.
Kamada's absence (8-10 weeks), Munoz (perhaps 4 weeks) and Sarr (perhaps 4 weeks) will potentially hurt us and there's no sign of the long term injured returning.
It looks very difficult to see the momentum being maintained, at least over the next month , but we may get an unexpected bonus with the emergence of young players exceeding expectations.

If our main stand ever gets rebuilt it should be named the oliver Glasner stand with a statue outside.

In my opinion. Imray is this.In the past when we get injuries like now we have seen the cream rise to the top. When we lost defenders and were down to the bones AWB and Mitchell appeared with no previous first team experience. If OG is brave we might find someone nobody really rated to start a stellar career. I am always hopeful and tomorrow may be the day.

If we do fall like Humpty Dumpty I trust OG (whilst still here!) can put us back together again.I cannot make a case for the momentum being maintained due to the fixture schedule and the unavailability of players.
Let us hope we don't do a 'Humpty Dumpty'.
4-4-2 is his favourite formation, but never plays it. Bit of a head scratcher! He has played 3-4-2-1 for his past 168 matches, for Palace and Frankfurt.
Thats guaranteed he will be leaving, Parish will not let anyone take his legacy. If our main stand ever gets rebuilt it should be named the oliver Glasner stand with a statue outside.

Thats not any basis for an arguement in fact it logically fallaciousI’d happily do one and would hit the ignore button if there was one. Repeating yourself time after time doesn’t make your points more valid.
Pretty certain the far majority of match going fans completely disagree with your Glasner opinion.
If you look at the Getafe manager profile, he plays 4-4-2, but exactly the style of Glasner, it a long used tactic. goalkeeper or centre backs kick long, doesn't matter who wins the ball, its the second ball that counts, Palace are superb at hassling the man in possession to win the ball high up the pitch, the wide players cut inside to find the space, in defence its a solid low block, 5-4-1, no space through the middle so forcing the opponents to go wide to find space, Getafe are a poor team financially, they beat Atletico Madrid using the same tactics that we have to beat many "better" teams, the crucial thing is all players buying into the tactics, which they do, it wouldn't work at a team expecting the manager to put on a show, Getafe like Palace are at or near the bottom of the possession tables, but that doesn't matter to a Palace or a Getafe fan.And his also played 433 and 442
