Crystal Palace eyeing famous British manager to replace Glasner

Crystal Palace are reportedly eyeing former West Ham United and Everton manager David Moyes as a potential candidate to replace Oliver Glasner amid his current struggles at Selhurst Park.

if Par-Dieu comes back to Selhurst, i will burn my season ticket and join ISIS. Moyes is another mediocrity we could do without.

Glasner still has my confidence. His performance in April/May was interStellar

I don't see what's wrong with Moyes. Pragmatic enough to keep us up and challenge in competitions. I don't really care what West Ham and Everton thought of him - they've not done any better since.

If Glasner can't turn it around he'd be a good shout I think. Did brilliantly with Everton and West Ham.

However, I'm still rooting for Glasner to turn it around.

Glasner deserves more time and a bit more respect. Changing managers every time we hit a rough patch won't help anyone.

Moyes is a decent manager if staying up is our aim but to go down the route would be Groundhog Day. We need to stick with the current plan based on an exciting young team playing the way we did at the end of last season. Injuries and loss of form have ruined our start but talk of replacing the manager is nonsense.
Glasner is the right coach to develop the team over the next few seasons whatever happens. He will bring through players from the academy and it will come good in time. Even if we are unlucky enough to go down, which is frankly unlikely, I’d still stick with him. We’ve had enough short term fixes.
