It will be their last chance of getting him and even then, why would he go? He will be getting minimum £20m signing on fee in the summer probably a lot more. His game management is excellent at palace for the run up to USA. He has total choice in August.

He'll get a huge signing on fee in Jan too - maybe not as much as July but not to be sniffed at.

Also i suspect his weekly wage will start with a 2 not a 1 regardless. This is surely why Liverpool 'only' bid £35m for him a few months ago - his wage demands were significant.

My concern is slot gets the push and OG gets an open cheque book and a huge salary to go there.

It is a concern but after spewing £450 m recently their cheque book might not be quite as open now.
