Deserved win and i thought we had a couple of decent chances in the first half - particularly the Munoz header (he is actually really good in the air but he seemed to slightly miss time his header) and although United had chances they were not as clear cut as ours.
We can have a pop at some of our players but both Kamada and Mitchell were important in keeping the clean sheet but the centre 3 all were excellent as was Henderson.
Will be interesting to see which central combination Glasner picks now Wharton is returning to full fitness. Hughes and Lerma have both been playing well but loved one of Wharton's interceptions late in the game where is ability to anticipate what an opponent is going to do is so elite.
Great victory and generally our away formation and form are a massive positive.
Big mention to Richards for his 2nd half performance as he was immense against a tricky winger (after struggling a little in the 1st half).
However, unfortunately Kamada was again very disappointing. As it was an early kick off i didn't fancy my normal pre match pint so took my seat early. I had a good look at the warm up.
It has to be said Kamada's body language isn't the best (reminds me of Julian Gray - remember him), however, what was particularly interesting was the shooting drill the attacking players took part in.
Usually this entails the players lining up playing a one two with the coach who knocks it left or right for them to shoot 1st time. I noticed the coach always put it on their preferred foot - so Hughes always got a left and Lerma always a right. I thought this might make sense for the midfielders but he did the same for Sarr and Kamada (interestingly Mateta did almost all shots with his weaker left foot).
Anyway Kamada often took a touch before he shot, and only sometimes as the ball wasn't the best. He also moved off to collect the balls etc so 'missed' a number of opportunities. It was as if he wasn't taking it that seriously. I was surprised the coach didn't force the players to use their weaker foot at least some of the time and that the players wouldn't want to try it. Anyway, during the game Kamada had an early chance on his left. He didn't shoot and took an awful touch which dragged him wide.
If he had been better prepared, who knows!
It does appear his confidence is shot and he seems unable to dribble with the ball. However, generally his effort is just unacceptable. In the first half he was back helping out the defence and went to close down the full back who dropped a shoulder and crossed the ball. Kamada didn't even put a foot out to try and stop the cross.
Let's see how he gets on against Donny, but he definitely needs to up his game
