Watch a few cheeky late £50m offers come in for Mateta. Resist! He’s our man and anyway a £70m player in my book. Especially with the lack of goal scorers around.

Utd are not even a shadow of their former selves , they have fallen so far only the useless bottom 3 is going to save them from relegation .If any of those 3 find any form they are bang in trouble .

But yes its hard to get too carried away when we expect a win ,good to see us execute the game plan and take the points and even if they are rubbish its got to be a confidence booster winning at the Old toilet .
 
This splendid victory has taken us on to 30 pts from 24 games, 13 pts clear of the relegation zone.
At this juncture last season we had amassed 24 pts and were 4 pts above the relegation zone.
Even the King of the doomsayers does not believe that we will plummet through the relegation trapdoor !
 
Has OG commented about why he said on Friday Eze was unavailable - then brought him on today?

Must say, probably one of his best performances of the season…

Wharton is back and played brilliant for 10ish minutes. Eze looked good.
It doesn’t get much better than this mate.
