Apparently the guy was on bail for a rape charge, so a good all round egg…
Excuse me, we do! We have to to get along & not be tarred with the 'British Benidorm Disease' Behave.yes, but when Brits move abroad, its the same problem. Living for decades in ( insert country name here) and never learning the language, the culture, the religion.
Did Nigel ever go and live in Lahore and go native ? highly unlikely, apart from a couple of rare cases.
Sadly that is also correct.do not be surprised if this Manchester Synagogue attack is merely the harbinger of much more Sectarian violence in the UK.
cos i cannot see the reason for an end to the madness.
whenever given a small serving of food i say " ay, tu crees que yo soy guiri o que "Excuse me, we do! We have to to get along & not be tarred with the 'British Benidorm Disease' Behave.
I don’t think that’s correct.
The current spike in anti Semitism is entirely the consequence of the actions of the current Israeli government. Anti Semitism has always existed but not at the levels now being seen and there can only be one reason.
Americans and Russians living here do feel the pressure of our distaste for Trump and Putin. Unless they come out and express their distaste too. Just as some immigrants, here legally on working visas, are feeling significant pressure from the threats being made by Farage. I know of several nurses now contemplating moving elsewhere because they no longer feel wanted.
If I was Jewish I would be very unhappy with the actions of Israel and speaking out against the government there.
Same here what a coincidence! 😆How does that tie up with

Still not seeing the connection. Two of my Grandparents were women but that didn't give me any idea how I'd react in a situation if I was a woman too.
Yes. Israel invaded Gaza on 27 October. The first anti-Israel demo was on 8 October. Are you suggesting this statement is wrong?
Obvious and trite would be appropriate words.
I despise anti semitism. I also despise the behaviour of the current Israeli government. A government which is doing nothing to diminish anti semitism or make overseas Jewish communities safer.
Where on earth do you get these crazy ideas? It would be very instructive to know what you base these assertions on because they have the same flavour as some of Trump’s and his come from the empty space between his ears. Before answering, if you can, you might like to read these:-I am old enough to remember a time when murder was rare. The closest most people got to a murder was watching an episode of Columbo.
Most was usually the stuff of old world gangsters, personal grudges and crimes of passion. Very rarely a concern to the wider population.
Now thanks to mass immigration, we have stabbings, shootings, honour killings and terrorism on almost a daily basis. We now have people in this country who are prepared to casually kill others. Some of those people are called 'British'.
This is the country our politicians have made for us. This is what they have sold us. They are still trying to sell it.
Even the Irish sectarian troubles that affected this country in the '70s were historically and fundamentally caused by mass immigration. No lessons were learned or heeded.
The British people have always come second to political and financial ambition.
Time for change.
You think it’s only “foreigners” who are protesting about the situation in Gaza?I thought it interesting that Shabana Mahmood (The Home Secretary) said of the proposed Palestinian marches.
"I do think that carrying on in this way does feel un-British, it feels wrong," she said.
Guess what Ms Mahmood. (oh, the irony) ? It's all these foreigners coming to UK shores stirring up trouble 🙂
The Socialist Worker supplies all the placards the Pro Palestine protestors carry, I have just looked at their website, no mention of the Manchester murders

But not arrested, charged, convicted and imprisoned like those far right extremists who were emotionally outraged by Southport and previous violenceand praised Hamas
That isn’t true. Many who have arrived here have integrated well and their children and grandchildren ever better. Sure they retain connections to their mother culture but that’s only to be expected. I heard a lady on Radio 4 today talking about this. She was born here of Nigerian and Kenyan parents. She considers herself British, drinks tea and eats fish and chips, but also treasures her heritage.Posted by Matt Goodwin on X.

What's my point?
We have set the stage for Islamist terror in the West ourselves --through mass immigration, porous borders and a total failure to integrate newcomers
To paraphrase Garrett Jones, from his book The Culture Transplant, migrants do not instantly adopt the host country's 'British' or 'English' culture and identity
Far from it
They retain central aspects of their origin countries --including religion, belief, attitudes toward violence, hatred of non-believers, and so on...
the Middle East has been a war-afflicted political basket-case for at least Four thousand years. There might be no more need for any protests.

Hamas says it agrees to parts of Trump’s Gaza plan but seeks more talks
This is a developing news story.www.aljazeera.com
I lived in the Philippines for some years. I participated in the culture, hated much of the food, loved the beer, hated the violence and corruption, thought the influence of the Church both good and sometimes very bad. Never a need to learn any of the several local languages because American English is understood everywhere and people were pleased to practice there’s. I lectured in English in a Uni there.yes, but when Brits move abroad, its the same problem. Living for decades in ( insert country name here) and never learning the language, the culture, the religion.

Maybe because it’s only come to light now, whereas the Southport arrests followed violence. But not arrested, charged, convicted and imprisoned like those far right extremists who were emotionally outraged by Southport and previous violence
Strange then that I have never, not once, heard anyone praise Hamas.ah now cmon. Everybody seems to be doing that , these days.
From the top to the bottom of our society, in the West.
