Manchester synagogue attack

And maybe the PM not recognising Gaza, and maybe not letting in thousands of people of unknown origin who may harm us, and maybe...
I am old enough to remember a time when murder was rare. The closest most people got to a murder was watching an episode of Columbo.
Most was usually the stuff of old world gangsters, personal grudges and crimes of passion. Very rarely a concern to the wider population.

Now thanks to mass immigration, we have stabbings, shootings, honour killings and terrorism on almost a daily basis. We now have people in this country who are prepared to casually kill others. Some of those people are called 'British'.
This is the country our politicians have made for us. This is what they have sold us. They are still trying to sell it.

Even the Irish sectarian troubles that affected this country in the '70s were historically and fundamentally caused by mass immigration. No lessons were learned or heeded.

The British people have always come second to political and financial ambition.

Time for change.

They are and we need to do all we can to mitigate the threat.

Including encouraging the current Israeli government from making our task more difficult by their actions in Gaza.

Be honest, do you think it would make our Jewish citizens safer, or more in danger, if Israel withdrew from Gaza and allowed unrestricted aid in?
Honestly? It might have delayed the current spike in anti-Semitic activity but not made a difference beyond that. Attacking or agitating against Jewish people here on account of what a foreign government does makes no more sense than attacking Americans or Russians who live in Britain because of what Trump or Putin does.

Gives me something to do this weekend. 😆 😆 😆

Blaming Jews for Jews being killed... Is there no end to your hatred?
I cannot end what doesn’t exist. I don’t hate Jews. I hate bad actions by whoever takes them.

It seems to me you are prepared to give a free pass to some, because of their religious beliefs whilst condemning others because of theirs. Which is classic prejudice.

What happened at the synagogue yesterday was a brutal act of terror against innocent people. What’s happening in Gaza can, with justification, be described in the same way. Neither ought be defended by anyone who genuinely cares about the sanctity of human life.

One does not justify the other.

I don’t think that’s correct.

The current spike in anti Semitism is entirely the consequence of the actions of the current Israeli government. Anti Semitism has always existed but not at the levels now being seen and there can only be one reason.

Americans and Russians living here do feel the pressure of our distaste for Trump and Putin. Unless they come out and express their distaste too. Just as some immigrants, here legally on working visas, are feeling significant pressure from the threats being made by Farage. I know of several nurses now contemplating moving elsewhere because they no longer feel wanted.

If I was Jewish I would be very unhappy with the actions of Israel and speaking out against the government there.

Feeling the pressure is different to being killed. The reason for the rise in anti-Semitism is that those responsible feel empowered.
The last sentence is too hypothetical to mean anything.

I thought it interesting that Shabana Mahmood (The Home Secretary) said of the proposed Palestinian marches.
"I do think that carrying on in this way does feel un-British, it feels wrong," she said.

Guess what Ms Mahmood. (oh, the irony) ? It's all these foreigners coming to UK shores stirring up trouble 🙂

ah yes. The mass Immigration of British people into Ireland. And we all see what happens when new communities fail to integrate, learn the language, adopt the religion, toe the line.

The irish learned about it 400 years ago. And now mainland Britain is learning too.

My fear is that 'the Troubles' in N.I. were just the appetiser before the main course. Sectarian nightmares seen in Manchester this week.

And the reverse.

People of different tribes don't like each other. Who could have guessed.

as i said. When you arrive into another country.....learn the lingo, play the game, show some respect and know your place. Its not rocket science- its what i would do if i lived in Spain, or anywhere else. Its a formula for good community relations......sadly ignored in Manchester and many other places.

It happens when people arrive in small numbers but not in their thousands.

This has been known forever.
