Well Whitworth is on a season long loan back at Exeter & Goodman is on a season long loan at Huddersfield. Mathews is 3rd choice 'keeper. Think Lacroix couldv'e done better

Very poor first half from Palace in this second game. No shape; no pattern and chasing shadows. Benitez at fault for the 1st goal and 3 of our players were second best as Mainz worked the second goal (good cross and headed finish - wish we could do that).

Have to be better in the second half.
