Leeds v Crystal Palace Match Thread

Can’t say that wasn’t expected after all the matches we have played this season especially with such a small squad. My annoyance is that we screwed up against KUPS by not putting out a stronger team to automatically put us into the next round. Now we have two extra games in that competition, prem games, FA cup plus a Carabo cup match on Tuesday. If we had won Thursday today wouldn’t have mattered so much and now we go into a most probable defeat on Tuesday. I’m annoyed at this as we should have won on Thursday and taken the hit today - grrrr!

I feel very sorry for all the supporters who made the long and arduous journey to Leeds.
All of them and all of us at home were let down by a team who conceded 4 goals as a result of set-pieces and who lost duels all over the pitch. It was a shambolic performance.

Taking out a £150m loan isn't a risk?

I respect your perspective but politely disagree. He takes educated risks and has steered us to our most successful period in our history. The previous owner took bigger business risks and it ended with us on the edge of liquidation.

Clubs take out large loans all the time it's standard practice.

He takes 0 risks (This new stand should have been completed already and at half the price to much messing about & excuses)

It sounds like Woody is the one who has forced it to progress just like Tex did for the academy.

We win FA Cup And Community Shield and still not willing to risk to try move us forward this sums up SP (The summer window was a complete disgrace & OG knows it as well no excuse for it)

Parish has to manage the club long term, not gamble it all this season. And gamble on what? Maybe we'll win the Conference League, even though we've looked horrible so far?

We're a mid-table club with limited revenue, there's no way we can sustainably be a club that finishes in the top 7, and competing for Europe every season. Glasner is obviously leaving us for a bigger club in 6 months, but before he walks out the door, he demands that SP spend a boat load of money on players for the rest of his last season? To me, that makes no sense financially.

OG hasn't been able to beat Strausburg, Kups, or even minnows Larnaca in the Conference League. I have no confidence at the moment that we can beat a club from North Macedonia or Bosnia in the next stage. Let alone win the entire tournament.

So we've disappointed in the Conference League, and we're headed to another 12th place in the PL, so it makes no sense to splash stupid money around in January. OG wants a bench loaded with starting players, which is why he's leaving for a bigger club. We can't afford it. and he knew that when he signed with us.

It's great that OG led us to the FA Cup, but his constant loud and public complaining this season is getting old for me.
