...can't be arsed to put them in a formation.. but then agaon neither can they...
I won’t have a bad word said againt Brian Bason, well apart from he was crap!! 🤣
We actually felt sorry for him the stick he was getting, because it was a tough job having to replace Doris, so my mate nicked an old bed sheet from home and we made a banner “The Brian Bason fan club” I think it lasted one game 🤣

Got to disagree with Tommy Langley. He used to run around like a headless chicken. Unfortunately mostly in the wrong direction 😀.

David Price was like Langley running like the proverbial headless chicken. He had this knack to turn up for a challenge a few seconds after the ball had been passed by an opponent. Hardly ever fouled the opponent, just turned up at speed and late?

How about George 'Stroller' Graham?
In fairness he was old when he joined us and his main task seemed to be to protect the emerging youngsters.
He just couldn't run and the task of telling him that his legs were gone went to Allison and Venables.

It would be possible to also set up a thread of the busiest players, but to no particular purpose.
Immediate nominations that spring to mind are David Price, David Giles, Brian Bason and Tony Mahoney.
I'm sure they would come off the field covered in sweat and mud , but would have had minimal effect on games.
It's said the whole world loves a trier, but surely there are exceptions!
