Well, no taxation without representation. They are now “ minded” to delay 63 others, mmmm. I’m sure Wissie will come up with an explanation. I know what my explanation is

BoE chief warns AI could wipe out jobs like the industrial revolution
Andrew Bailey played down fears of mass unemployment as the technology takes a greater hold on society and the economy.www.dailymail.co.uk
Even the BOE has now woken up to the impact AI will have on jobs for young people. Still Labour will just crack on ignoring the data and allowing our EU friends to export their youth unemployment to the UK.
It's costing the taxpayer a fortune and will be used to import young people to compete with our own at the same time as youth unemployment is rising.Uk students can go to EU ,i did and most of the young of my extended family did aswell .Loved it .

The globalists at play again. It's costing the taxpayer a fortune and will be used to import young people to compete with our own at the same time as youth unemployment is rising.
I agree that travel broadens the mind but this will disadvantage those that stay at home.

It maybe the suicide angle that has persuaded the government to partially reverse the IHT, but it maybe the scenes of farmers protests in France. They are not happy and are not shy in taking action. If British farmers took similar action, it would be carnage for the government. Unfortunately yet again the ideology of this labour government has been proven to be faulty. When you thought this government couldn't get worse, they do a massive U-turn on farmer's inheritance tax, and when Parliament is closed for Christmas.
Maybe they figured that farmers committing mass suicide might be a bad look before the election.
The worst government ever.
Vote Reform.

And where was Rachel Reeves? It maybe the suicide angle that has persuaded the government to partially reverse the IHT, but it maybe the scenes of farmers protests in France. Well they will be up against some tough competition but I know what you mean. When you thought this government couldn't get worse, they do a massive U-turn on farmer's inheritance tax, and when Parliament is closed for Christmas.

Mapletree?Well they will be up against some tough competition but I know what you mean.
People will always complain about taxes but the really appalling aspect of this is the lack of government data. When this hike was announced the Treasury was forced to admit that they had not done their due diligence on the impact it would have on the farming industry.
Somebody had done a basic calculation that it wouldn't really impact small farmers and Rachel had just gone with that. I would expect when you have a year to prepare a budget that some serious research would be done on the impact it would have on the country. And apparently this does happen except in this case. Quite why this one slipped through without proper data research is where the incompetence comes in.

Anyone can go to an EU country, as has always been the case.Uk students can go to EU ,i did and most of the young of my extended family did aswell .Loved it .

I hear you, but if you can't boil them alive, you will probably be sticking a knife in their brain first, so not really any different to Halal killing.
But halal is okay?

It's a cruel practice, so I'm in favour.
Most ways of dispatching animals could hardly be described as nice.

Because they are cowards.Oh I agree. I'm in favour of stopping the lobsters being boiled alive. I'm also in favour of getting rid of halal slaughter. But you don't hear animal rights activitists go after the halal slaughter.

If these folk didn’t have double standards they’d have no standards at all !Oh I agree. I'm in favour of stopping the lobsters being boiled alive. I'm also in favour of getting rid of halal slaughter. But you don't hear animal rights activitists go after the halal slaughter.

I know I'm spot on when you disagree with me.Ridiculous comment. Did you say that when the Tories cut the welfare budget impacting the worst off in society, many of whom have underlying disabilities.
What do you want - you whinge when the policy was announced and now it has been amended (not abandoned) you whinge even more.
Get a life. If you think Reform is the answer god help us.

The point is that this is just another example of this government being very amateurish. It seems to listen to a certain segment of its advisors and just introduces a policy without actually analysing the situation.Ridiculous comment. Did you say that when the Tories cut the welfare budget impacting the worst off in society, many of whom have underlying disabilities.
