Israel v Hamas

I heard a really funny joke it roughly goes like this Hamas attacked Israel on the 7th October 2023 thinking that the rest of the Arab World would rise up and evict Israel, this was a stupid idea in 1967 the Arabs did this with Egypt joining in,the arabs had more troops and on paper more eqipment, Israel won in Six days, the Israeli troops were better trained ,they had better weapons and American logistics. To try a re- run without Egypt was very dumb and the reason they have had their posterior whipped. The lesson is history repeats itself but mankind gets dumber.

So peace is coming ? So Palestine can re-open schools that indoctrinate kids that jews are subhuman and must be killed ?
Whatever happened to the De-Nazification that happened in Germany after WWII ?

BBS are twisting themselves into knots.

1. It's all Trumps fault this violence has continued, he could have been sorted out if he had acted sooner.
2. Trump's peace deal is rubbish and wont work.
3. If it does work it was nothing to do with Trump but the wisdom of the other Arab states.
4. If in doubt see 1-3

Some of it is correct.

It isn’t Trump’s fault. The issues go much deeper and predate Trump by centuries.

It isn’t though a peace deal, so there’s nothing to work. It’s a cease fire. How long it lasts is an open question. Which first demands answers to other questions which have proved intractable.

The Arab States must have leaned on Hamas just as Trump has on the Netanyahu government. What understandings have been made behind the scenes between the Arab States and the USA isn’t known, and may never be known. I very much doubt any of it originated from Trump himself. He’s too dumb to do complicated diplomacy. That won’t stop him claiming the credit.

It seems our own Jonathan Powell, the government’s national security adviser. has had a lot to do with getting the hostages released, being singled out today with praise for his tireless diplomacy. He is quite an asset! Quiet diplomacy is what we do best.

The most coherent speech I have heard Trump make. He speaks, and the world must listen.

Trump triumphant.

you forgot to mention that Biden and all the Globalists love to constantly start new Wars.

Trump ends Wars. He also prevents new Wars, such as Western Sahara where he did a deal with Morocco.

A mixed bag of a reply.

I'd agree with a lot of it up to the last paragraph......though I think that's too harsh on Trump. As I think you miss the woods for the trees on that....It's about what comes with Trump, his Jewish donors, the trust the Zionists have with him. All that is required to even get this ceasefire.....which I'm also skeptical about. It's it silly to think that Trump needs to be on top of the detail....it would be nice....but all administrations employ the intellectual talent for that. Trump only needs to understand the summaries.

But there are obviously other factors at play here and I think you touch on them....I'll add the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the loss of Jewish popularity amongst the American youth and MAGA movement itself (Carlson, Owens)....that is troubling the donor class and Israel a lot.

Your last paragraph though....if it had any influence at all, it would have been minimal at best.
