Who Elliott , liverpoolOne of them couldn’t hit a cow on the arse with a banjo, one of them is on his way to Valencia, and I don’t know who the f*cl the third one is but overall I’m not sure it’s the best use of £75 million.

What ten years wouldn't even get out of bed if it took me that long and at times I didnt 😁I'd look at my payslip and reflect my months money would take some people ten years to earn.

Selling a Sarr who has played his skin out in the hope of getting a move to a top club at 2+ times the salary or keeping a disgruntled Sarr who plays up for the remaider of his contract maybe the only two options. It's great to stand on principles, but I'd leave that to clubs who wouldn't have a chance of relegation. In this new world, the recruiting team is the most important part of the club and I fear we do not have the talent thereSelling Sarr would be absolutely crazy. I can’t believe anyone is advocating for it. He’s our main goal scorer. Indeed he’s the only forward we’ve had who has played constantly well in the last 18 months. We’ve just sold our only quality centre back (Lacroix) and our main provider of assists (Munoz). Now you want us to sell our best remaining player?
What good is £75m if you get relegated? The cost of relegation is way more than that. Sell Sarr and it would take a miracle to keep us up.

We should start a gofundme page for them. Heartbreak like this must be hard to deal with.BBC reporting Gakpo to City is collapsing, which nerfs the Sarr to Liverpool:

His goals per game ratio is the same as Sarr's for us but they expect £80 m for their player while low balling us. Nothing changes.Yes…The Sun sports writer is now reporting the same.

We have. Wharton for one !They move for the same reason the players move.
Everyone's a money whore.
Some might just wait a season longer than another.....but we do it to smaller clubs and bigger clubs look to do it to us.

Although I don't want to lose him it does feel like it's not a great situation for the team.
We already had stroppy JP. It feels like a club can cope with one baby throwing their toys out of the pram but to have two doing it isn't great. Especially as they're both technically starters in the team when fit.
Had Liverpool bid earlier in the window I think most fans would have wished Sarr well, but the way it's all played out doesn't make anyone look good. Another depressing transfer story tbh.
I'm glad a least Eze and Guehi managed their exits with a bit of class!

Looks like ssn doesn't expect any more incomings at liverpool today.

It's might be disappointing for Sarr but they didn't really want him, he was second or third or even further down their list
Liverpool just having a punt that for some reason we'd let one of our last remaining proven top level PL players go for a knock down price - the only way to make it happen was to unsettle the player
The whole thing was a ridiculous circus and Sarr should have known it was only a very remote possibility when he has 3 years left on his contract
Palace were clear weeks ago that Sarr would only leave for a fee 'well above the market price'
Probably just some Scouse revenge for the Guehi failed transfer last year?
Great news,I think not.Looked like they only came for him after having 2 bids for Mitoma knocked back.
They might not have even wanted him at all, just a tactic to soften Brighton's asking price.
Regardless. Salah was released months ago. They have had about 5 months to plan for that RW position.
Now we have a player who wants to leave, because their agent has been causing trouble. And he would have been telling Sarr that we are being unreasonable and blocking his dream move.

Yeah, good luck Pierre, motivate those two (the only goalscorers we have)!Great news,I think not.
An unsettled Sarr and left with JP,the wantaway!!
