Ismaïla Sarr

Sarr wants to go. So sell him whilst his stock is high. I’d be surprised, indeed delighted at £75m.
We are targets on account of our relative success. I know it’s only 2 games in but we are in a fight for survival. It’s not all lost at this stage but looking a bit ominous. Holding onto Sarr serves no purpose. He ‘ll lose form guaranteed and with that his value diminshes.
We pay people to scout, his replacement should be through the door tonight. To be fair the club covered the right back/wing back before Munoz departed.
Same thoughts for Mateta.

The media in their frenzy, say somewhere in the Sarr, saga Palace have to sell. No they don’t, yes a massive offer might trigger them selling, but at no point do they have to .the guys got three years left of his contract why do they have to sell.?
Personally I would be happy if we got a good replacement in and took in excess of £75 million of Liverpools money, but don’t see it as a deal Palace have to make.
Truth is it’s more a test of Liverpools need.

Selling Sarr would be absolutely crazy. I can’t believe anyone is advocating for it. He’s our main goal scorer. Indeed he’s the only forward we’ve had who has played constantly well in the last 18 months. We’ve just sold our only quality centre back (Lacroix) and our main provider of assists (Munoz). Now you want us to sell our best remaining player?

What good is £75m if you get relegated? The cost of relegation is way more than that. Sell Sarr and it would take a miracle to keep us up.

We might have someone in mind. Not a direct replacement because this bloke plays on the left instead of joining the ranks of right sided players we've already got.

Disagree with almost every word. Sarr will sulk if we keep him at Palace just like Zaha did. Once he wakes up and realises the only way to get his move is to knuckle down and show his best form we'll then be getting the best version of Sarr. Balls in his court. Sulk and harm your own career or be a professional and work even harder

Agreed. If Liverpool really, really want Sarr, they'd get him. Look at Isak, Barcola, Wirtz etc. They get who they seriously want.

Why ? i believe in the players we have , that was glasners attitude in January and he lost me at that point , never give up 2 games in , if you do don't support a football club , its not a sport for you to enjoy 👍🏻

They claim they really really wanted Guehi. That one didn't work out so well for them
They didn't want him enough seeing as how they'd pay over 100 mil for other flops. Guehi would have helped them hugely. Shows how stupid or arrogant they are after all. Their whole issue was aging and threadbare defence (and Salah sulking). Yet they bought everyone they didn't really need and blocked all of their promising youngsters.
They should try Gakpo up front but who am I to tell them.

I can believe all I want. That doesn’t mean selling your key players and only consistent goal scorer will lead to success. If belief of fans won games every club would have loads of trophies. What actually wins games is good players with good tactics.

When you make the first eleven a lot weaker then the one that had a poor league campaign last time around then you are likely to struggle. If you sell your key players as a club like ours you are going to do well to stay up. Team after team has shown this. That’s just logic I am afraid.

All this talk of ,we have to take £75 mill. More talk elsewhere of Wolves needing to ask £70+mill.
for a player thought to be a replacement . Does anyone ever think the media just take the piss.?

That’s the thing players SHOULD be through the door before Sarr goes. I blame Parish for all this shenanigans, how in gods name is the new manager able to organise the team when there is this constant bullshit going on. Parish could have put his foot down early doors to give the manager a chance!
