T.A. C.O. once again the Wall Street acronym strikes again Trump ALWAYS chickens Out. The cease fire talks are on the Iranian ten point plan not the American fifteen point plan. The ten points include a continuation of the nuclear plan, reparations from the U.S. to pay for damage caused, Iran to run the Straits of Hormuzet etc. This is no average c0ck up it is a king sized cOck up of the gargantuan Trump size. So the Lilliputian Iran have faced off with the Brobdingnagian U.S. and beat them. Not one of Americas war aims has been achieved and every ship coming through pays a two million us dollar ransom to Iran. You really couldn't make it up this would defy the creativity Johnathan Swift's imagination. I have listened to several T.V. stations on the subject including G arbage B in News the childrens news for easily led lazy adults.

If you are referring to Nick who tried to shut down this site, then you should have banned him on day one. He is as close to a raving loon as it gets.
The problem with a no rules, free speech site is that you have to tolerate all kinds of behaviour and opinions. I'm not sure you were the right person to do that.

Anyway, back to topic. Did you think WW3 would start when Russia invaded Ukraine?

Their entire navy and air force has been destroyed and half their missiles gone. Hardly any sort of victory for Iran.
We need to control the Straits of Hormuz. It doesn't belong to Iran. The majority of nations are negatively affected by the attacks on shipping. It is in our interests to secure it once and for all.

Iran still have 14,000 missiles & 30/40,000 drones, they have averaged 40 missile strikes a day since the start of the war, THAAD, David's sling all that crap cost to interception rate is eye bleedingly expensive, there are no resupplies for those systems coming anytime soon.
Trump has failed to protect his allies in the region.

Since Iran had the audacity to not surrender in the fist days of the war Trump has tried to escalate to de-escalate a failed strategy that had him talking about erasing a civilization that has existed for 6000 years, this is the language of a psychopath.

America could destroy Iran anytime they wanted. This was a limited attack on specific targets.
All Iran have achieved by firing off missiles at its neighbours is to strengthen support for US action.

Trump was never going to erase Iran. The fact that you think that demonstrates a lack of understanding of the situation. What you can believe is that America has the capability to do exactly that if it chose to.
In reality, there is far more to be gained from a compliant Iran with a sensible government who see the benefits of mutual cooperation with the West. Right now they are all but defenceless against attacks from their enemies such as Israel. Drones and missiles won't stop the damage they could inflict.

The ceasefire is because of the deal; it’s just a ploy to get breathing space whilst Trump reconfigures his next move, which I think will be to take Kharg Island. So expect a sudden event that negates the deal and the island comes under the control of the US. For every $2 million fee charge, $3 million of Iranian oil is plundered.
