It did surprise me a bit as it seemed to be very different from the Iran that the media portray.
Most Islamic countries are but that doesn’t do anything for the narrative.

Looks like Russia are ready to help with the Iran conflict.....while the EU countries and starmer are still bed wetting...

You’re more loyal to the US and Russia than you are your own country and continent.
Utterly shameful.

Yes of course my comparison was broad sweep but it was a clumsy means of crow barring in the point that there are always options.I won't criticise you for providing a reductionist description of those wars because whole books are written on them and it's a forum post. But obviously there is a lot more to what happened in both than differences in approach equaling success or failure.
That said, I kind of agree with you on the ideals.
I'm not someone who supports prosecuting soldiers, because I know what happens when you put people into life and death situations. It comes down to leadership from the top down.
I will say is that holding to certain principles should be a central core of what your military is and how it sees itself......Unlike some I can think of I'm not a supporter of the ends always justifies the means....A good way of discerning that can be if you support the nuking of Japan in 1945 because it ended the war.
Anyway, there are always different options and I think both on Ukraine and Iran wrong ones have been pursued.
As we know there are many parts as to why those options were chosen and how we got here.
This has an A.I. look about it.
Thought that this was an interesting watch to provide a potential different perspective on Iran - Tehran gave me an “Istanbul vibe”.

I like yourself, once nievely liked Trump.
This is just Iraq and non existing weapons of mass destruction part 2. I guess people just have a short memory.
Isreal have been lying for 30 years, saying that Iran could have a nuclear bomb in months.
Now quite obviously Iran is a horrible place to live for people; but bombing schools full of children doesn't make it better.
England
I'm sure you don't. Part of being a t*** is not knowing you are one.I genuinely wonder if you ever read your posts back to yourself and asking ‘am I being a massive tit here?’ before hitting send sometimes.

Listen to yourself.
No one forced them to bomb them. It was a choice.
Where bad guys hide behind human shields, it is morally repugnant to wilfully murder the shield.

England
Silvertop only cares when the wrong kind of people die. He has me on ignore because he is playing the victim... as usual.Show us where the shield was targeted? I see military targets with holes in the roof. In fact that damage is a bit weird, doesn't seem to fit with other surrounding damage, even the struck buildings are still there because it's a penetrator munition, but that school, just looks like some blasting at an angle that doesn't seem to match where the missiles struck.

Don't forget, this is a nation that just murdered 30000 protesters in a month, but I don't remember this reaction

A negotiation of any type with the USA or Israel is simply not possible, neither of them would keep to anything or ever do.
The USA just tore up the previous treaty with Iran which they had kept to.
Their decapitated leader actually issued a fatwah against the development of a nuclear weapon on religious grounds.
Neither the US or Israel recognise the international court, at the UN they are totally isolated, and act illegally with little objection from western governments.
America is committing war crimes against civilians including the destruction of a girl's school with 160 little girls and previously a gym with 19 others, also bombing hospitals, schools and residential areas, people going to work.
The Lancet - Nov 25 - USA sanctions over a 30 year period from 1990 have resulted in the starvation of an estimated 38 million people.

Please don't tell me you're on Trump's side.... 🙄
