This war has dragged on so long it’s just becoming background noise like the Ukraine war has .
Iran have proved a far more formidable foe then many envisaged on here .
So much for it will all be over in days or a couple of weeks ..

Who didn't predict that?

The Iranian government are horrible but you have to give them credit for their resilience. With them being autocratic and the other having one eye on mid terms I think I can guess who will blink first.

The blockade would seem a safer option than boots on the ground and can operate at a distance, can't see what Iran can do quietly or not.
