I'm told via my source that the regime has also blinded 350,000 people with the gas they used. Let's see what comes out of that.

It's an evil, vile and hateful regime and makes me so angry. But what to do about it? The satanic old Ayatollahs aren't going to take any notice of Western protests. They're probably all safely hidden in secret bombproof locations, so taking out the leaders is probably impossible.

You have any ideas about helping the Iranian people? I'd genuinely like to know.

Why doesn't Saudi or Egypt or Israel, or any other superpower in the region who supposedly hates Iran do something about it then? Why is the West having to get involved? Its nothing to do with us!
if they all hate Iran so much then send some troops in and help displace the regime and then take in any refugees - or sorry, that's the job of the UK and Ireland.
Madness.
 
Presumably the primary objective of the USA fleet (even if they do nothing else) will be to assist in safeguarding the Straights of Hormuz, providing safe passage for shipping in & out of that side of the gulf is crucial to both the local & international economy
 
There's been bad things going on in some African countries for decades. But when you don't have oil, there's not a lot of help the USA can give

Could kick of Sunni and Shia war ,the surrounding Arab countries whilst majority Sunni have many Shia .
You also have the Kurds ,Irak has many Shia .
You destabilise all that and …well could get ugly .
As much as would like to see the Ayatollahs strung up by the bollocks .
It’s complicated .
This is my view and it’s not coming from an effing left or bleeding right wing view .
Smashing the place up is the easy part on day one .
And on day two ?
 
Scott Ritter (yes I know his background) made an interesting point that the US pulled out of airstrikes last time round because the US was collecting intelligence on the people the irgc activated to quell the the riots & protests, these people will be targeted in coming strikes.

One of the reasons the US has to telegram everything they are doing beforehand is because the Iranians have Russians working in their Nuclear facilities & the US would like to avoid an escalation with the Russians, you can see how this benefits the Iranians because they can simply move any potential nuclear material to a new underground location.

Again I will stress, if the Iranian regime starts to topple, if they have a nuke this is when they'll likely use it.

Expect Iranian sleeper cell attacks all across the West too.
 
My predictions for Iran :

- a French Revolution style takeover. Clerics getting capital punishment and other draconian measures. Political chaos for at least a couple years.
- A new push for a secular State.....and this to eventually make allowances to Islamic voices.

- this, under US influence....to slowly morph into another Saudi Arabia...over the course of 20 years. We will not have another Western Shah Playboy, the US learned from their mistakes.

However, if, and the big if.........is outside influences. Russia, China, US....and "International Islam" whatever form that takes, ISIS, Boko Haram, Islamic Brotherhood, Hamas, or other. They may well choose to get involved in the fight for the Oil. Its an enormous glittering prize and that always brings trouble.

You aren't one of the sharks.

But sure, I'd send tomahawks, JDAMs and Paveways into the Revolutionary Guard, and crush them. The Iranian army is not the RG, moderates can take over. All of the oil pipes come to ports inside the country. Cutting off their income by taking those over isn't too hard either.

This regime are going to fall anyway, nothing wrong with a little push.

Israel get condemned by idiots, but the reason we have interests in the place is because they are state sponsors of terror against us, and they support Russia with arms in their war with Ukraine.
 
the US/Israel have launched bombing raids on Iran. The War in the Middle East grows to epic proportions. This will all not end well, not for anybody.

Its all Biblical in proportions. And its everything to do with Oil supply and religious madness.

And so Eagles, any predictions for what will happen next ? new countries to join the sh1.tshow ? or new terrorism on our streets ?

The reality is that the Iranian government has to be taken out. It was inevitable.
There will be losses on both sides, but doing nothing could result in much worse.
