After ten or twenty years the rot will have set in, cue another Ayatollah type revolution.

So I posted somewhere that the BBC originally were reporting about 600 protesters killed yet I have an Israeli contact who confessed to me that he has a contact who is something to do with Mossad, and the death toll he said was 12,000. This was a few weeks back.

Turns out it is at least 6000, and there are about 20000 deaths in 'investigation. Amnesty are expecting about 25000 in total for these few weeks.

Well, this far far outstrips the IDF "genocide" by some margin when accounting for time. So, where's the outrage? Where are tjhe protestors? I think we saw a few outside the US embassy at one point but don't recall any 'peaceful' marches.

You get divided societies everywhere....the Left versus the Right in Spain. They still feckin hate each other. The Balkans or NI have a regular flare up. About once every 60 years.

Still nothing from the resident lefties.

In Iran we have reports of regime cops going into hospitals to slit throats of hospitalised protestors. Doctors started lying on hospital admittance info because the cops are using it to find them and murder.

Not one comment from them, no outrage, no protests in our streets, no kafhirs, no flags, Greta saying nothing.

25,000 in a month, that's 6x the killing rate of the IDF, and the IDF had one target area and hit thousands of armed men. Yet no "genocide" calls.

I guess they are focusing on Trump and Ice and will be here if Trump attacks Iran to condemn him.
 
The USA are sending their ‘armada’ now - for what purpose I don’t know. Bomb the regime and the Iranian army, help the protesters and sail off again into the sunset. I didn’t know he cared so much about foreigners. Maybe he can cut a deal to open a Budweiser brewery in the new style Iran, back to the bars and nightclubs of the 1970s. Sounds great. Maybe we can help by granting asylum to all the old regime supporters who will flee the country when the new regime is installed.
What is the obsession in getting involved in Arabic countries and thinking you can install western style democracy. Haven’t we learnt our lesson many times over?

Because : Iraq, Cuba (bay of pigs), Afghanistan, Vietnam, Libya all went so swimmingly well for USA military action. Mostly they ended up smashing a hornets nest open, but Iraq seems to have stabilised (a bit) and the oil is flowing.
The only thing they can do with a carrier is bomb/missile strike military facilities. Maybe they're hoping to provoke a reaction, so they can justify ground forces and liberate the oil fields.

I don’t get the leftie or Rightie angle here ?

I absolutely detest the Ayatollahs,but intervening in Iran might not be the walk in the park the Venezuelan coup ( even though existing govt left in power ) was .

I thought Trump was elected on no more foreign interventions .

Remember Irak .

Might be different but I’m no Iranian expert .

This could get messy .

For me it makes no difference where you stand politically ,it’s about can you bring about regime change with minimal chaos ?
History tells us it’s seldom been the case particularly in Middle East .

George Floyd: widespread violence, protests, BLM.
Charlie Kirk assassination: justified by the left.
Trump assassination: that's fine apparently.
