Pretty sure the Pagans and Druids got wiped out, the Romans collapsed and left a void filled by a brand new mix that essentially was Anglo Saxon, and those Christians had to win wars over many decades to convert the heathen to their way, or die. Regardless of what modern TV shows is within the culture war of drama and documentary, Britain remained northern European, and the numbers you are seeing today are growing at a greater rate than ever, except we can't launch wars to remove them as we did before.

So back to my point, you're dreaming.

You miss probably the most important, the Norman French!

It’s inevitable that they were from Northern Europe when travel was so restricted. Just crossing the channel was then a major challenge.

That’s no longer the case but exactly the same considerations apply. Anyone arriving must accept us and our way of life. Unless they arrive with an army and the intention to dominate as the Normans did almost 1000 years ago. Then we fight.

I have long argued that we don’t insist on this nearly strongly enough and allow the establishment of counter cultures too easily. It’s the reason I want religion removed from schools and public life.

Maybe he'd see it differently if the Moors were showing up on the southwest coasts again taking white slaves in raids.

They were pirates! Those were different times. Any pirates that were captured were likely to end up as slaves themselves.

These would be vernacular Nazis. Those who are considerably more convinced of the ideology than any of the current candidates.

It would be good if you knew your history. The Normans didn't breed into the country like the Vikings did, they didn't pile people in for the land and settle. They came in, beat Harold's superior numbers at Hastings, and ruled which is why you saw all the Motte and Baileys built everywhere as they appointed local rulers
It's what their forefathers did as Rollo Duke of Normandy, a Dane, in that area first. So no I didn't include the Normans for that reason else we'd have seen french appear in our language as the peasants would've been speaking it, just like we have Dane, Saxon and Angle words which make up English. The french spellings came later via the rennaisance period.
