Of course not. Just look at the case today in which a policeman infiltrated and stopped what was said to have been potentially the biggest terrorist incident ever in the UK.

Good intelligence is vital and stops much more than we are aware of.

Finding ways to challenge and change extremist beliefs is never going to completely remove the threats, so good police work will always be needed. Whatever the source of such beliefs.

And WHY should we have to live like that? Why should we have to pay for anti car terrorist bollards for Christmas markets? Why do we have to spend a fortune on trying to catch death plot after death plot with the inevitable case that some slip through and kill innocent people. Why should I be limited for liquids in my hand luggage, have to go through scanners, just to get on a flight? There's only one reason we have to do this and it's Islam.

If I was a Mexican who was needing to flee my country, either for safety or economic opportunity I wouldn’t want to go to the USA with Trump as President. It looks like a disaster in process from outside. People only want to come when there are opportunities. Now there’s not only no welcome there’s no opportunities, no security and no legal process.

If I still decided to enter illegally I would make very sure I wasn’t detected and find a route and haven that ensured that.

Where would you go? Him being President previously didn’t stop them. Most will have to enter a country illegally as they would not qualify legally. So where? Just other Central/South American countries presumably as they would not have the finances to travel further afield. Wouldn’t be much better off in most of thise

We sat at a table we are no longer invited to when we were in. So have no say now which means we had much more back then!

The situation everywhere has changed since Brexit. It’s been a while since I spent more than a day or two in Germany so my personal experience is lacking but I used to spend a lot of time there. In general I think that they are more tolerant and welcoming than we are. They do though face similar problems, so I have no doubt would want us with them on this.

Not as tolerant as they might be.
