Immigration, specifically the Muslim vote, is very much on topic.

You really think that Labour could have won with a different candidate? Who? Someone called Muhammed perhaps?

Or e.g. "Burnham"?

No idea. But (perhaps not representative) there have been folk interviewed who say they would have voted Burnham had he been the candidate.

There were also those who said they are wholly pro Reform, but then admitted they did not vote.

Reform tried bussing in folk from the council estates, but clearly more is required to turn political allegiance into actual vote. The issue Reform may have is that many who tick box Reform in any poll are also part of the self-disenfranchised majority who can't be bothered to turn up.

Reminds me of the Obama years where ‘poor blacks’ were bussed to the poll stations to vote. Some had his name written on their arms so that they could match the name with the ballot paper.

Total deflection away from the total embarrassment and humiliation suffered by Labour and Starmer.
Labour won the seat at the General Election and their vote was halved yesterday, so I will take no lectures from those commenting on the Conservative % of the vote.

We both know the left wing voters went for Reform in order to block the Reform candidate when the General Election takes place those votes will return alongside a Labour M.P. I'm more worried about the Tory status as an endangered species, Chris Packham might want to launch an appeal.

At a certain point you have to start accepting the blame for sticking by a party that has enacted such betrayal on this country.

Voting for the party that puts the wolves at the gate should come with blame.

Poor white trash are statistically still better for an area than other trash.

No one wants to live in countries that weren't built by Europeans or East Asians.

There is a reason you are here and not in Pakistan/India or elsewhere.

Even though I'd argue that the Indian intelligentsia are alright and mostly anglophiles.....it's the other 90 percent.

Of course, but a reducing impact. And no more than scouse families or Gloucestershire farmers voting in anyone wearing red or blue rosettes, as appropriate.

Still stupid for sure, but not the same thing as has been suggested here.

No one should be entering a voting booth with someone else.

I have met Muslims and those of Nigerian extraction who are more alarmed by migration than (possibly even?) Hrolf. There is no-one more hard anti immigrant than those last over the drawbridge. Brexit and Reform all the way for those guys.

Sure, like I said previously there will be sensible people from every community but both you and I know that it's going to be under 10 percent.

If those people have sense they will join Reform or Restore.....Well, maybe after they have checked out Restore's manifesto.

We continue to rebuild our party with vim, vigour and determination.
The mood was distinctly upbeat in Buckinghamshire yesterday at an 'Away Day' for Conservative MPs, Shadow Cabinet ministers etc etc, with guest speaker Nick Ferrari.
Apropos 'Southern Direction' look no further than Starmer and Labour.

With respect I do not recognise your 'Caricature' of the current Conservative Party.

In any event this discussion pertains to the 'Gorton and Denton' by-election where Labour suffered a drubbing and some of the wind was taken out of Farage's sails by the result.

If by “white trash” you mean people whose forefathers have lived here for generations, without the family achieving upward mobility, I think the evidence is clearly the reverse.

With no history of success and no one pushing you the chances of you discovering the motivation seem slim. New arrivals don’t carry that baggage. They are already part of a group determined to better themselves.
