Immigration, specifically the Muslim vote, is very much on topic.
You really think that Labour could have won with a different candidate? Who? Someone called Muhammed perhaps?
No idea. But (perhaps not representative) there have been folk interviewed who say they would have voted Burnham had he been the candidate.
There were also those who said they are wholly pro Reform, but then admitted they did not vote.
Reform tried bussing in folk from the council estates, but clearly more is required to turn political allegiance into actual vote. The issue Reform may have is that many who tick box Reform in any poll are also part of the self-disenfranchised majority who can't be bothered to turn up.
