Glasner to Forest

Should always be remembered for his achievements in winning 3 trophies, but no respect for him as a man if he goes to a club that helped get us relegated from the Europa League.

I imagine the Kamada, Mateta and many other rumours of Palace players will start soon.

Very annoying, I thought we could go back to ignoring Forest again this season but it seems like more spice is getting added to the growing rivalry.
On the contrary why would Mateta or anyone else want to leave us for a club that’s not in Europe? And it’s not like Forest have the resources to do anything other than try to qualify for the European League that we’re already in next season.

I agree with everything you've said... However I still think it'll happen.

So at the end of the last game of the season when Steve said 'Ollie you are welcome back at Selhurst Park anytime', he presumably didn't think Ollie would be wearing a Forest tracksuit!

10th Oct incoming...

What if the offer he couldn't resist was simply an exit clause well below 100 million Euros if a bigger club offers him a life-time opportunity?

And what if this is all it would have taken for him to extend at Palace?

When I first got a message about this, I assumed it was a wind up.
I look back to when it was announced he was going and he was strongly linked with Manchester United, then Chelsea and finally AC Milan.
From that to Forest?
The stories of him a) wanting to stay in London or b) wanting to return to Europe to be closer to his family turn out to be incorrect.
I assume he's been promised a decent transfer budget along with the fat salary, but there must be restrictions on what they can spend as a mid sized club.
I can only assume he likes a challenge as the owner will be looking for a minimum of getting into Europe.
Perhaps Glasner has met his match in the owner who is a similarly ambitious personality who dares to dream.

If we needed more evidence of Forest's owner being morally bankrupt...Pereira did a fantastic job for them at the end of last season, and is fired because the owner has unrealistic expectations and appears from a distance to be a horrible human being with no moral scruples.

Glasner did a great job for us but I can't wish him well at Forest - surely the circumstances of his predecessor's exit should also have given him pause for thought. Never disliked Forest until a year ago and always respected Glasner, but I can't help desperately hoping that Forest are relegated and Glasner is sacked in double-quick time, giving all of them their just desserts.

Well, he has £116m to play with from the Elliott Anderson sale. That's a good start

I have had a bit of time to reflect and choose my words having heard about this early this morning… I wanted to be eloquent and mature… But all I can say is what a turn coat c***. He won us 2 trophies and anywhere else I would probably be ok with it… but them. Those c**** that took our spot and mocked us for it.

And what was all the bollocks about him wanting to be with his family… if they didn’t like London they will f***ing hate the midlands.

I think another poster said it. This c*** thought the world was his oyster and he would be fighting off offers from top clubs across Europe… I only hope he fails miserably and gets sacked… Properly dumped on his arse.

I think they went through four managers in the last year. It may actually be five. I mean, who's keeping count?

I honestly believe when he had his "hissy fit" back at Christmas he did it with the intention of getting the Man Utd job as i'm sure the two were in close proximity to one enough (Man Utd job being available). I believe was expecting to be sacked.

I also agree with others who have said that there is not really a lot of "top jobs" on offer. One thing i would say is this is indeed out off the blue being linked with Forest (will looks a done deal).

One thing is for sure, he will have more money to spend at Forest if he takes the job, than what he would have if he stayed with us even just for next season for the Europa League campaign.

My final note is its a shame as I just do not understand the logic as its not like Forest will be the next Man City or Chelsea anytime soon, just have to look at Newcastle as case in point. However, he honoured his contract, delivered 3 trophies and lets be honest somewhat decent place finishes in the table. Therefore I wish him the best and good luck.

If Glasner had just waited a few months into next season , I'm sure a big club would have become available for him , If he fails at Forest that option will never return , It doesn't make sense to me at all career wise for him to take the Forest job ..

I’m sure it’s kicking the sand in Steve’s face if he ends up there , gets all the players he wants.

Yet I’d be ok him going but I’d not like it if palace players move there
Yes, if this really does happen I half suspect he is doing it just to try to p*ss Steve off.

Also, I am certain that he thought he had the Milan job in the bag. We know talks got to a very advanced stage, the deal was pretty much done, just not signed, then they pulled out and signed the 99p store version, Amorim, instead.
